I think Rossy likes the sound of his own voice more than the people he's interviewing. What really hacks me off is that he can be funny, but seems to @forget@ to be sometimes.

I think it was in very poor taste, using racial stereotypes, inferring that the minority is stupid, advocating physical abuse towards the minority and then dragging it back up at every opportunity.

Brand was the best thing on the BBC, I've been listening to his show since it started and it rocks.
I listened to the show about Sachs again this morning and couldn't stop laughing.
If this hadn't been brought to light by the moaning public then they would have never got 20000 complaints. It's the fact that the type of people that don't listen to his show have now heard it that they are jumping on the band wagon.
Brand will just go onto better things now, watch this space. All the publicity is a great way of boosting his show biz status.
As for Wossy he'll just have a wee holiday and then go back to making £6,000,000

The character of the girl concerned is neither here nor there. I would not know anyway since we have not been introduced! God forbid!
The real point is that those two double died pratts decided to make oafs of themselves and leave those obscene and offensive messages on Andrew Sach's phone and also did it in public on the radio. Sachs just does not deserve that kind of treatment especially since he is not responsible for his granddaughter's behaviour anyway. What they did was puerile and well beyond the grounds of public decency. Those who can't see that should put themselves in Sach's place and consider how they would like to find messages on their answerphone which were not only disgraceful but were also done in full public hearing on the radio!
I also consider Ross to be a waste of space as an entertainer, he is incapable of doing a show now without offensive or obscene remarks which all goes to show how poor his abilities are and how rubbishy his material is. he has a mouth like a sewer which is always the last resort of a poor entertainer and Brand is also going in the same direction. Pity really since he does possess some wit at least.
I hope they remain suspended and at least save us some of our licence money which is completely wasted on these two losers.

It seems to me, reading this thread, and observing the complaints rolling in (considering there were so few initially), that it seems to be anyone who doesn't like the pair, or either one, are jumping on the bandwagon. If this hadn't been highlighted in the media, there wouldn't be this fuss, and most likely, if this had been done (even in a moment of madness), by some others, possibly more widely liked, there wouldn't be either.
I'd like to say it amazes me, that a bit of a bad taste 'joke' is worthy of the main headline in news, but in this day, it really doesn't.

funny u should say that because on the telly this morning they reckon most peoples complaints are that they get huge salaries and behave like this, so if they where getting crap salaries it would be ok to behave like this?

The reason few people complained just after broadcasting was simply because the sort of person that enjoys listening to Brand probably thought it was funny. Obviously, Brand&Ross thought it was funny and whoever decided to air it thought it was funny.
It wasnt big and it wasnt clever.
The fact they've both apologised shows they fcuked up and made a huge error of judgement.
