Bond films should be very simple. All you need is.
Sexy Girls at least one of whoom is evil but still ***** Bond. Extra bonus points if Bond uses his super **** skills to turn Evil girls good and good girls evil.
Ridiculous Villains with some freaky physical anomally or strange pet. The villans aslo have to insist on overcomplicated ways to kill Bond giving him chance to escape.
Long rambling plot with an extra action bit at the end before Bond copulates again.
Great gadgets
Bond in Aston Martin beating bad guys in lesser cars.
Witty one liners and cheesy chat up lines.
Breaking the formula is bad news.

I thought it was very good on the the whole, but was very nearly spoiled by some questionable "Bourne-esque" editing.
The action scenes were plentiful and suitably OTT, I really can't praise Craig's portrayal of early bond enough, but the supporting cast wasn't always as good. Greene was forgettable as a villian, the mI6 totty sent to collect Bond was so superfluous it was almost embarrassing and was also played like a Bond Bimbo of old, which was out of keeping with style of the film.
Oh, and Why was Olga Nicearse so orange?!?
Other than that a very good effort!

I've now seen it and enjoyed it.
Even after 5 pints I could still follow the plot so it can't be that confusing.![Big Grin](images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
I'm looking forward to the next one as Craig has said he wants Q and Miss Moneypenny bringing back to the film.
Either way, it was an enjoyable night out and not a wadte if two hours of my life.
Tomorrow evening, I'm off to see Chubby Brown live which will have to make up for the lack of one-liners in QoS.

Everyone keeps talking about 'Bourne' scenes.Isn't that because the chap who did the Bourne stuff was drafted in for this film.
Not seen it yet, looking forward to seeing it.(Another die hard Bond fan)

Bit of a let-down unfortunately ![Frown](images/smilies/frown.gif)
Not a bad film, but really nothing that special and nowhere near as good as Casino Royale. As mentioned it's clearly taken a lot of influence from the Bourne films which it shouldn't. Craig is excellent as Bond IMO and some of the action was exciting, but there there was very little plot.
