Top Gear....Already got on my nerves!!!

Truck part was much too long and all set up for laughs and a lot of it was very predictable. How exactly did Clarkson's truck set on fire though?? Lambo review was great and very funny though I would have liked to have known the GT2 lap time. I enjoyed the Parkie interview, they have to talk to the stars in the reasonably priced car.

agreed, its all pre planned stuff, and the lorry section was just a bit to "give over" for me
no way hammond would ever have not noticed that the car had fell out and the "acting" between him and james when they "discovered" the missing car was gash, and a bit cringeworthy
still amused me mind..

Pretty funny, if you want car reviews read the mag, if you want to see three blokes pratting around watch the show...
Jezza's Truck looked awesome in its matt black paint job.
Parky was just boring, not interested in driving, but seemed to do a decent job around the track.

Parkinson nearly sent me to sleep, that was the most boring ten minutes ever. Thank goodness for Sky+: pause, cup of tea, turn the heating up, have a nose outside, eat a sherbert lemon, fast forward. Job done.
Rest of the show was good entertainment.

Didn't clarksons truck have a big bundle of hay at one end and an electric fire thing at the other?
Most of it might be staged but I still think it's the best program on t.v. by a country mile.
As said before, for those that don't like it, why carry on watching it. The three of them pratting about it is the best bit of the show and the Specials are brilliant! I can watch the snow/ice race one over and over again.

Very Funnny,
Although there was not a lot of cars it was the trucks that made it for me. Parky was on Far to long.
They should do "A Star in Fuc*ing Expensive Car" that would go down well and see some of the stars actually shi* themselves ,lol

Its certainly got to be a dream job! Anyone else think Clarkson's comments about lorry drivers murdering prostitutes a bit close to the bone with the current situation at the beeb?

I think both views are correct
its gone from a "rough round the edges" car show to a very well scripted and funny entertainment show
i do enjoy it alot -- but am not fooled by the antics -- its ALL scripted and rehearsed
but i do think it is heading for its own "jumping the shark" moment

Suddenly this all makes sense.
You're selling your Impreza to buy a Golf Diesel.
You don't find Top Gear entertaining and you don't like Rossy.
I bet you can't stand The Simpsons or Family Guy either
I hate to be the bearer of bad news but it looks like you're becoming the quintessential old fart

I've had 5 Imprezas and 4 Golfs, and have always driven faster in Golf diesels
Ross is by any measure not worth a fraction of the £6 mil a year of 'our money'.
TopGear is cointrived slapstick by middle aged men who haven't grown up, ergo I don't watch it
Lo TC
