I wish I could still get Kronenbourg 1664 "Diva" 75CL @ 6.3% But they reduced the strength to 5.9% a few years ago. I've also seen UK domestic travesties of the type @ 5.5%.
A mate got an astonished reaction from a helpful type in Auchan a few years ago. When he asked for Cinquante of them. :-)
Cheap as chips relatively speaking too.

Nah,
"feeling foul" double dragon is the stuff to drink
Felinfoel Welsh Brewery. Welsh Beer. Pub Opportunities Wales
Would you believe that it was the second brewery in the world to produce canned beer (after an American one) and has been doing so since 1935

Bought myself 4 bottles of Staropramen and 6 bottles of SuperBock yesterday plus my normal large bottle of Stella.
Found the Staropramen quite gassy and sharp taste, think it will need practice and be an acquired taste so will continue with it. The Super Bock was a lot smoother and less gas and preferred it to the Staropramen. Still prefer my large bottles of Stella though

I had 7 bottles of Cornon yesterday while watching the Arsenal-United match. Forgot how refreshing it is out of a bottle. I'm really going off canned beer/lager as it seems to have a metallic taste about it now. Dunno if it's somethign they are cleaning the recycled cans with or what, but out of a bottle it just tastes more refreshing, not far off draught.

Stella Artois ABV and packaging changes | Stella Artois Digital Newsroom
Had about 10 pints of the stuff the other day, and still feeling like crap.
Fell asleep on the train home and ended up in Cambridge!!

Husband and wife are shopping in Tesco's when the man picks up a crate of Stella and sticks them into the trolley
'What do you think you're doing?' asks the wife
'They're on offer, only £10 for 24 cans', he says
'Put them back. We can't afford it,' says the wife and they carry on shopping...
A few aisles later the woman picks up a £20 jar of face cream and sticks it into the trolley.
'What do you think you're doing?' asks the man, 'It's my face cream. It makes me look beautiful,' she says.
The man replies... 'So does 24 cans of Stella and it's half the f *ing price'

Maybe they were because you were necking too much of the stuff. LOL.
Any difference in taste between the two, or both still horrible out of a can?
