Bergen-Belsen Memorial - Guided Tours etc.

There is no beach....

I used to live there (I was an army brat), they changed the name of the area to Bergen-Hohne.
The locals were fairly nice, but then again my Dad and his 4000 mates did have guns and tanks etc.

Nice to see the post ratings still work (I wonder who is manipulating the results now I've gone! LOL)

Thank you sir

Yeah, I loved it. I'm definitely going back, for longer. Killer journey, but worth it.

If we'd been there for longer I would have visited a couple of the other islands, but it was just great driving around Oahu and having a bit of an explore, etc.

Some photos as promised :

View from the balcony

Turtles getting their breakfast along the shoreline in turtle bay

A couple from LA :

The gates of the playboy mansion!! LOL

LA Auto Show

The new ferarri (first with restractable hard top roof)

The new Lotus (very tempted!)

I'm sure this is massively SIAL by now, but I was surprised to see a booted Impreza.

Cheers Stu. I trust you're having fun mate

LOL

I once sat on a long haul flight in economy with a colleague. A kid kept kicking the back of his seat.

So he turned round eventually and asked the kid's dad 'escuse me, would you please ask your son not to kick the back of my seat?'.

The bloke just said 'No'. ROFL.. What a legend!

Thankfully not. A small childs legs wouldnt have reached the back of my chair as we had lots of legroom. Still a killer though, sitting still is mindnumbing to me.

The honest answer to that has one less letter than the word yes.
