I do hope your not tarring us "white folks" with the same brush there? My daughters go to a primary school, years 1 and 5. Both have one black kid in each their classes, and they're the only black children in a school of approx 300 kids. Both are treated the same as the rest of the kids, the school sets out rules, regardless of skin colour, and the pupils AND parents are expected to abide by them. In our school, there is not a problem, proving it can be handled correctly.
If, and I say IF, your child is being segregated at school, can I suggest as a parent you get yourself down there again, I'm assuming you've already been to see the head, and demand some action? Maybe spend less time on here insinuating people who you don't know are racist, and actually try and help your child overcome it?

84of300...At last someone who gets it...none of us were calling anyone racist...some people just said the comments were erring on the side of racism...arguments have started because people are having ago like we are wrong instead of just accepting that the comments offended and moving on!

), I regularly get called baldy and told that the shine off my head is blinding them I don't care!!
All the above are things that could be construed as unPC, racist and offensive but I'm man enough to be able to see things for what they are.
I did get bullied over my ears at school and even for being Scottish but hey, guess what, I don't care.
I have several friends who are black (of varying types), Asian (of varying types), Australian, American, French, English, Irish, Welsh etc. etc. We all take the p1ss out of each other in ways that some of you lot would deem criminal according to some reactions.
One of my Nigerian friends calls Guiness '****** sweat' (I know I'll get infracted for even quoting that
), the only people I know who get 'offended' by that are whites with a weird outloook on life and some other oversensitive types, his black colleagues don't give a toss.

This is a forum where racism is not permitted but although the dollar bill sailed really damned close to the wind, it should have been seen in the way it was meant to be, a bit of a laugh. If the person posting that had been black and stated such, this would not have been pounced on so much. Fact.

All you infractors, chill the **** out and try and rationalise your arguments against what was said rather than hitting that button. Infracting is plain lazy, and shows your inability to hold a decent argument or debate without resorting to throwing the sweets out of the pram, simple as.
As I've said before, it's a shame when some things get over serious on here for no reason. This thread was ruined by some silly comments from both 'sides' and especially the PC infracto brigade who are too cowardly to be counted.

Im not judging anyone on here and dont think anyone is racist, im pretty sure the op of said comments arent racist, nor meant to be, but me as a black person has found them offensive, simple or can you not understand? sorry that im offended bucko, but be black all your life and hear that sort of stuff and youll know where im coming from. ur not black so youd never understand, so ur point is in reality, invalid. And while they are busy being bitter and twisted you have a very nice life
Trust me when i say these things have a way of sorting them selves out Oh and for the record i thought it was all funny.But ive just spent an hour looking at the bernard manning jokes,which i also find funny.

That's pretty much my point of view.I've said it once and I'll say it again(not that it'll make any difference whatsoever): Some people just take life too seriously. Anyone on this forum could call me any name under the sun in a reply to a thread, and I'd still be sitting here with a grin on my face. Forum = helpful and a bit of a laugh, but not to be confused with the real world.

I think most people here know you're not a bad person. You've tried to have a bit of a laugh, so have others and it's all got out of hand.
