thats what they should do !!!!!
i drive a hgv, if another creeps up along side i just back off the cruise control slightly then they overtake and flash them in !!! SIMPLE
one problem is speed limiters before these were put on lorries this overtaking problem didn't exist
the other is drivers who think they are king of the road and think they have priority
they usually say thing like "the country would come to standstill without us"

Im not going to drive though the night to keep people like you happy.

The one big main reason there are so many lorrys on the road is down to Dr Beeching who closed alot of the railways, so alot of goods have to go by road now.

But what really winds me up is bloody car drivers think the own the road.

What gets me is about car drivers, not all but a hell of a lot is you sit in the middle lane (OVER TAKING LANE) on the motorways with nothing in the 1st lane for ages while there is a queue of traffic behine them and then you have the fast lane full of traffic trying to over take you

No wonder we need 4 and 5 lane motorways.

YOUR NOT OVER TAKING ANY THING SOMOVE THE **** BACK IN LANE 1

And while you think your all so perfect drives and think us wagen drivers are *****, there is one question i would like to ask?

Are indicators a optional extra on most cars?

Are they broken or are you just another arrogant ****** that dont use them and thinks the rest of us are telepathic.

While im in the full swing with this, What is it with people that sit right behind you so you carn see them.

If you cant see my mirrors then i cant see you.

Now before you all get on your high horses and start twining, im not saying you all are like that if any, I was referring to car drivers, and motor bikes as a whole.

If any of you think you can do better, then i will be more than pleased to let you have a go.

That my 2p worth

Let all the slagging off begine.

OR,hows about all car drivers do their driving at night, therefore leaving the roads clear during the day for us wagon drivers, seeing as the roads were originally built for hauling goods around the country and not just for pootling to your nans for a cuppa or nipping out for ****.If non hgv licence holders were a bit more educated about wagons and their speed limiters, weight, size, manouverability etc etc they might be a bit less impatient, and if you want to gain a bit of time then when you get to roadworks with a 50 limit,GO AT 50,instead of p*ss balling about at 15,causing wagons to loose all there momentum therefore slowing right down and seemingley holding everyone up,its not us its YOU.And if you got in the right lane at the right time instead of trying to get from lane 3 off at the slip road in 10 feet causing everyone to slow down.Oh yeah, while im at it,whats with the FOG lights,i can see from carlisle to london and theres always some c**k with fog lights on cos theres a bit of drizzle, there not called drizzle lights,GET THEM OFF.I think if everyone with a driving licence had to spend just one day in a wagon they would get in their car with a totally diffrent outlook, and maybee i could just get on with my work,i dont enjoy going at 55mph all day,i drive a p1 so i like speed,if only my wagon could go like a scooby, man oh man then the roads would be fun.

this is not aimed personally at you mate, yours was just an ideal quote to use and i feel much better for getting that off my chest so actually,THANKS.

The problem lies with the lorry thats being overtaken, just ease off a touch and let the other through and then flash to let him back in (when its safe),

the really funny thing is that a lorry could take a mile or more to overtake, especialy when the slower one doesnt ease off a touch, but as soon as he's past, the other lorry flashes him while he's only a couple of feet in front, , how bloody mad is that,

I'm a lorry driver and a car driver and a motorcyclist and cyclist, and I can honestly say that there are tossers in all the vehicles on the road

On some dual carriageways in France, HGVs can only go in lane one. They are not allowed to overtake, so all the cars and other traffic have the rest of the lanes to themselves. And it is complied with too.

Mind you, you don't want to mess with a gendarme...

I have a hgv licence and i think most car drivers really have'nt got a clue on how trucks behave(cutting in on roundabouts etc etc etc) so when i see dicks in thier cars buried under trailers i really do have stop myself from giggling at thier wrecked pride&joys. Not all but most accidents involving hgv's are caused by impatient aholes in cars.

But when we have held you all back for a full 2 mins and then the road ahead is clear, what do you do? You boot it past us doing funny waves out the window and tailgate the next vehicle you see.Pmsl all day watching you

Trucker here and some car drivers are propper To$$ers, must get to my destination yesterday, A car driver had this attitude when he tried to undertake me, he had his wheels in the kerb and his drivers side scratching my Paint Work, He said I was a Wan*er, Good job I saw him because I never felt him, But all his rushing cost him big time, Audi Panels, wheels, paint and possible late for an important meeting,
