It's looking like this high pressure imminent is going to come a day late for us
Early part of next weeks looks very calm but Sunday it's still blowy
So hope I'm proved wrong , but my new found kiting experience is telling me otherwise

Well i managed to get out with Rob today aboard Dawnbreaker 3 , After our trip was cancelled on Sunday due to the high winds , I Was asked to make the numbers up on a party going out today with a load of other anglers from Saffron Walden ..
Was a bit last minute but sure was well worth it ..
We had over 45 + Fish on the boat 99% Cod / Codling , with a few whiting for good measure 30 odd fish were keepers they ranged from 2llb to 6lb with most around the 4/5llb mark
Lots of spratts in the water , every fish i gutted was full of them , So considering they were up top feeding on them we done well to catch what we did
Roll on the next trip on Sunday 11th Jan
A Collection of Cod ....
