But what happens now that Mr de Banke has ridden off into the sunset?

I can't imagine that IB will be putting a resource in to investigate Infraction complaints.

So it will get into a bigger mess than it is already. Perhaps IB will pass the buck to the moderators which will get everyone's backs up. The intellectually challenged willl have a field day and then it will all be dropped.

And then we can get back to the sensible option which is to report dodgy posts which can be vaped if they are seriously out of order.

Sorry - I'm being a bit blunt here. Really calling a sp..... Whoops can't say that

I think the real answer is to remove the anonymity from the infractor and the necessity for a real explanation of why he did it. If you are going to do that you should have the ***** to stand up to it.

Yes it would be nice if 'some' members had the courage of their convictions - the ***** that is instead of this anonymous pathetic system we currently had which allows certain anus's to hand them out as they see fit.

I guess the infractions would almost cease if it meant having your name placed by the infractions you give out

What's an Infraction?

Is it something I should strive to be the winner at?

Who holds the current record of most Infractions?

I got my first one ever on the Obama thread.
To be honest though, I don't really care.
If one does get a short holiday, not being able to post for a week or two is hardly life threatening!
My life no longer revolves around this place.
Clearly the infractopost crowd have no social life and require stimulation from "getting one up" on a fellow SN member.

Well I was on 2 points... see you after a short intermission I expect.

As i understand it, an unjustified infraction lands you in hot water, possibly banned. A justified infraction lands you in hot water, possibly banned.

The system is only flawed by one thing...

YOU CANT PHYSICALLY BE BANNED.

So what is the point of having a system that doesnt work and cant be made to work.
