Stu - *I* would say that once you resolve the infractions issue and address the number of active moderaters you would break the back of the problems on the site.

Because people know each other, and just like in any real-life conversation, people throw in the occasional aside. I really don't see the problem with it unless the thread becomes a trivial ping pong lasting more than a few posts (again as per quite a few previous NSR threads i could point you to). What does ticking a box pink do? Apart from make you feel self-righteous? If a thread deviates too much, RTM it, let the mods decide.
I am unable to tick any boxes btw as I am a freeloader

Oh I have missed a lot of goings on...maybe IB are listening and watching more than we realise.
I for one wont be renewing nor will I go to SIDC. there are plenty of free forums.

DD is a more mellow version who has seen things very differently from this side of the fence.
My post was intended to create constructive debate - I'm not saying that I object to ronjeramy's post. There has been some good input to this thread, which hopefully will result in change for the better :Thumb:

Well, there was me thinking the masses were all up in arms and had hundreds of things to complain about when in fact all you want are a few bug fixes, a handful of new moderators and a revised infraction system. 
The new administrator should be well pleased that he was worrying over nothing. I hear he was last seen purchasing stab vests on eBay and investigating sources for various forms of weaponry that quite frankly have normally been reserved for Range Rover driving men in Hollywood films! LOL

Ive come to realise that IB werent the villains. That said; we dont want a revised infraction system, we want shut of it, but with re-empowered moderators and a decent admin that wont be an issue.

You did sound rude, and like you were telling someone off. The site is about banter and 99.99% of threads that go over a page or so tend to go off the main thread.
I would have thought your 5 years of lurking would have taught you that....
