You've hit the nail on the head there. I wanted it to be different and stand out a bit.
When I first bought it, it was blue with gold wheels. It's not a daily driver so I don't have to be concerned with parking it a Asda etc.
I somehow think if i'd of had the subaru rally livery you'd have all loved it. It's been done to death and looks crap on anything but a rally car IMO.
I'm sure a few of you will see it at SSO next year and perhaps seeing it in the flesh will change your minds
What I meant by that was they are all making assumptions, about going for a cheap fix or the paintwork is dull etc.
Niether are true but I just dont want the hassle of having to do a full respray again. The paint work was fine other than two small areas either side of the door.

IF YOU DON'T WANT OPINIONS, WHY ARE YOU POSTING UP PICTURES?
I STAND BY MY COMMENT, IT LOOKS FLAT ON THAT PICTURE YOU POSTED (DIRTY OR NOT, I CAN'T TELL FROM THAT PICTURE) AND I SAID I THOUGHT YOU'D DONE THE RIGHT THING.

Not my thing tbh, but its your car. fair play. remember veiwing your scoob awhile ago and was well impressed with the build you have going on.
Personally think some of the comments arent needed but hey.
id be more interested in looking under the bonnet than at the grafics

TBH i wasn't sure on the colour when i saw it in pictures but it looks a lot better in real life, i can see why daz did it as there was a few parts that where Flat and dull.
Not Yet seen the car with the Graphix on, ill try and pop down sometime this week to have a butchers! But from the pictures i don't think they look to bad.

Seems a bit odd with a car expecting to see 600 BHP (which must of cost a fair few quid) and your cutting corners on getting it to look good.
echo above^
not for me
dont take offence when people post negative comments, its just tastes differ?

To be fair its hardly cutting corners, sticking Decals over a few small bad bits of paintwork? If Daz hadn't said why he was doing the Decals to cover some bad paintwork, you'd have not known, not everyone can afford to have their cars resprayed. £140 or £2000, hmmm hard one that, respray for some tiny bits, Or cover them with Decals, that leaves you with £1860 in his pocket to buy a bigger turbo!
As for cutting corners on the engine build, look at his Project thread!

I'm gonna go with the minority and say I actually like it. But I would personally not have had the "shopping list" type branding down the sides, I would have had say one company diagonally across, like Frayz' Bugeye or Stevebt's Blobeye, both very capable cars.

Think you need a carbon fibre sti rear spoiler and some new colour coded afterburner rear lights and it would look sweet as. (i would usually say no to afterburner lights but i just can't see STI rears suiting that colour).
I like it, its going to be a beast.

LOL COB you're sooooo right. No afterburners are going anywhere near this.
I did think of putting a big tuning company sticker on it in place of "the shopping list" but I've done all the work myself and this car has NEVER been to a tuning company so I thought that would be a bit cheeky. Especially if it blows up at SSO and people think its been built by "that company".
I have to admit that's the only part i'm unsure about. If I could put anything else in their place I would. I'm open to suggestions by the way
