For sure, the cooling thing . But as a corollary... they REALLY DO look dogs danglies, to boot! .

Gotta get one! ... I MUST pop up to harvey's and get the GT Hybrid fitted early new year-ish . Let's go!!!...

Lol,

I,ve been on the phone to Richard @ Tractive and i,m going to get one fitted in January along with a map (obviously) and service..

I,ll keep you posted, a month away though yet...Lol

Just think of the colossal peace of mind of having it expertly mapped to a decent FMIC! Defo the way forward...

Pete,
Got your PM, but I might as well post it on here.

For a Classic, you are probably doing the right thing. However, as others have said, a STI8 TMIC would be abosolutely fine at your level though. The cost of the two could be questionable (depending on if you fit or someone else does), as which is the best. However, I would suggest that response could be hindered by all that extra pipework and personally I would refrain from going FMIC unless I really had to.

It's all swings and roundabouts though in my view.

Ultimately, the FMIC *should* provide better and more efficient cooling.

Cheers Shaun, appreciate that, i,m going over to see Richard soon to discus my options and i,ll probably go FM just for the cooling tbh..
