Hi Stringo
Our 130PD is doing 325HP, 530Ft/lbs and the standing 1/4 in 12.1 secs, not bad for a little old 1.9TDI FWD car.
We can sort you a map on the scud no probs, you can go generic reflash or custom.
Our hybrid turbos have just won the 24hr SEAT Cup race in spain, we made some units for Dimsport and there car beat SEAT works team by 18 laps. Dimsport were always down on power and reliability, but now there untouchable.

Motoways will see mid 40's easy at 'decent' speeads and low 50's when taking it steady...
Guys are reporting the power upgrades making the over MPG actually better...

Just found this from one of the tuning companies on a local 335D in Wakey... Evolve will do a couple of Dyno runs as part of the package. Not to map on the run, but to check the before and after figures as well as ensuring nothing's wrong... This one is about £600 ish...
370 BHP is possible too (they do several flash's dependent on what you want to achieve), but apparently the gearbox goes into limp mode on the approach to 600 Ft Lbs ish.

It's no surprise that mpg rises with moderate tuning. With more performance available with much less effort, drivers demand less during relaxed driving. It was the same with the PPP on Scoobs.
Oh, and during 1800 miles on our holiday in Cornwall last year our Octy managed an average 56mpg with an impressive average 57mph. Anyone with an average mph reading on their trip computer will confirm that you have to be seriously 'on it' on UK roads, especially Cornish country lanes to manage that

i think its safe to say that the gap between diesels and petrol engines has closed up quite a bit over the past few years.... with correct tuning, and proffesional tuning, the gap could be bridged all together... alan, is yours petrol or diesel??

Wot he said...
With 3 mode, 6 speed semi-Auto box with paddles. It's similar to a DSG box, as the transition between gears is seamless. And I mean seamless.
When pushing real hard in sport or manual mode, on the upchange there is NO drop in power or noticeable change in revs or speed in any gear..it keeps pulling hard.
It really is a phenomenal box. Down changes via the paddles have to be experienced... 5th or 6th down changes to 3rd and 2nd are stunning and dealt with in milliseconds. The box is mated perfectly to the engine... Only small 'down side' (it's not really, but it does take over) is that if there's any chance the car will over rev, it won't let you change.. or as soon as it hits the rev limiter (or just beyond in sport or manual) it'll change for you. Couple of times (especially on the Stelvio trip), I accidentally hit the button twice when in 3rd. normally this will drop down the two cogs before you realise or can react... but it saved me from dropping into 1st a few times when still pushing hard...
Awesome technology...that helps, rather than hinders.
Happy to take you for a spin dude, especially if you're in the market ...

i've just signed up with briskoda.. apparantly its the EGR valve kicking in and its all normal... loving so far.. alot quicker than i thought! 53.9 to the gallon on the way to essex yesterday... engaged the cruise control and put my feet up! yeah i'm itching for the re-map.. on the hunt for a S/S exh (would'nt mind a magnex or janspeed if i can get one), a D-Cat pipe, induction kit, and then a trip to AET to let them loose on it!!

On the OE exhaust and air intake you can hit 190bhp and 320 lb/ft, which is often enough to force clutch slip. I find the 180/312 on mine is adequate given the car and FWD transmission. Also, the turbo would need upgrading to get more, then you'd probably need a FMIC, and some of the internals might grumble as the boost raises compression. We all get giddy at times and want to go as high as possible, but step back a little and decide if it's worth it. Personally, I've drawn a line under mine and any money I would have spunked on tuning goes into a pot for future vehicular extravagances. That Caterham on TG at the w/e had me salivating. 1.6s faster than the Atom on a very cold track

CB, i'm after about 170/300. just enough to be able to toy with the little pr*ck who lives nearby and has a "super quick" (cough cough) cheaply tuned clio sport 182. sorry, i kmow its childish, but i'm now part of the DERV brigade, and need to show the boyracers that diesels have potential!! i'm going to see ellie after xmas and have a chat with her, fit my a panel filter with uprated induction, leave the cat on and just have a nice exhaust, purely on a nice exhaust tone basis.. i'll have to get together with you CB to discuss what you have done, and maybe take some pointers??

I'm at w*rk in Wakey overnight all w/e. Sat or Sun night after 7pm would be best for me if you're interested. I'm 2 minutes from the Rhubarb Triangle pub. Let me know.
