Hi 340bhp-wrx, We are not sure what the problem was with your radiator not fitting, it just seems to have been a one off with your vehicle as we have since had the radiator you had fitted to a vehicle and it went straight on with no problems The standard radiator will no doubt fit fine as it is much smaller than the alloy one which is bigger for increased cooling.
As you are the only person who has ever had fitment issues with this radiator not aligning up correctly or sitting far enough forward i can honestly say it is not a problem with the radiator. Many people on here have taken us up on the group buy and have fitted theirs fine.
You keep seeming to bump this post up with negative comments, even after we spent a long time trying to figure out a solution for you and then gave you a full refund including your return postage. We as paying authorised traders try our best to make sure every customer is happy with their purchases. With this one off incident on your car you are not helping us as traders on this site even after we have dealt with you in a professional manner.
I think you have made your point very clear and i hope we can now put this to bed, as all the radiators we are selling have been fully tried and tested before being put on here for sale and have no issues with fitment.
Regards
Ed

Ed,I did make a point of telling people on here how well you dealt with my problem and that you quickly gave me a full refund including my postage costs.
However,i'm getting abit annoyed with people trying to tell me it's an issue with my car and not the rad eventhough they haven't seen my car in person or how badly the rad would have fitted. It could have been made to fit which I did state but it certainly didn't fit comfortably.
After doing some research I found out that fitment issues with this type of alloy rad is common. This type of rad with straight edges all the way down fouls on the chassis leg of the wrx,not sure if that is the case with uk models aswell but I would imagine that it is.Not slating your products, just stating facts. Some people might be happy with the fit of your rads but I wasn't,at the end of the day it's down to personal choice.
Did anyone ever come back with pics of the rad fitted to a car with a FMIC ?

These do fit with FMIC kits but every one that has fitted it only run one fan or trim the fan shroud to allow it to fit.
As there are so many different intercooler kits on the market we can not say which kits fit better than others as all have slightly different bends and pipe thickness.

Can someone also explain to me if I have a problem with my car why the standard rad fits perfectly but the alloy rad wouldn't,with another WRX by the side of mine the layout was identical
I will take some pics of the car at the weekend and post them up to show how the standard rad fits etc.

As some cars come with two fans and some come with just one from the factory i would say there should be no cooling issues. Besides thats what the High flow radiator is for

Just to clear things up, these alloy radiators do fit with a front mount intercooler (Hybrid)
Fitted mine today with boths fans and no problems
A big thanks to Ed@Japspeed

I am now running the Japspeed Alloy Rad with Zero Sports Cool Thermostat and have a 19 Row Mocal Oil Cooler being fitted next week so hopefully that should keep all temps under control.
