Default V4 sti cams

Can anyone help me with this thread as i also have just stripped a v4 sti set of heads down to find there is only one cast line through the markings.
they are definatley V4 heads with the right springs and under bucket shims.
they measure 42.38mm on the lobes for the inlet and 42.68mm for the exhaust lobes.
i don't want to know what sti 2 cams are just what V4's are meant to be. I'm sure one of you guys can clarify this, just a little confused.

I thyink the problem is people are assuming 3 and 4 are the same and they aren't.. I would say both sets are v4.. ie. with only one line.. the line seems to be a redherring

thanks simon i knew you would come up with a good answer, i've looked at your photos and the cams have the same measurements as the V3 cams but the lobes on V4 are inbetween uk and V3, which makes sense to me as i understand the V3 cams are more aggressive.
i hope this thread is put to bed now.

But isn't the problem that no-one has a definitive set of measurements to differentiate between STi3 and 4 cams. There is a lot of talk about how they are more aggressive, if you dig around on SN you find that easily enough, but never are there any actual numbers.
