This competition (if that's truly what it is) is about who looks like a pop star. If they can sing as well it's just a bonus.
Two of the three best singers have now gone. It has to be based on looks, (or who gives Simon the best time after hours!)
So on that basis it's the wee Oirish fella and the squawking, hand waving, blonde thing for the final.

The clue is in his backing dancers who were all no older than 16. It's the kids who vote on the x factor hence Ruth left last night and Diana got through.
Alexandra's second performance was brilliant, worthy of winning the competition, it'd be a disaster if she doesn't win now.
