Sounds to me like the fat cow caused the row not Simon C.

She surely started it by putting trimmings on your desk.

Go and get some glitter and when she pops out of the office pour it all over her keyboard then blow your stack when she tells you she doesn't like it.

I just let them get on with it, I came back to tinsel round my monitors once, stuck on so as to obscure bits of the screen, I removed it and got moaned at but left the rest.

Its like all the charity stuff through the year, its not so bad here but at other places there seemed to be women whos job seemed to be just organising Christmas and charity stuff, no I wont dress in red for comin relief, or wear a nose, heres a fiver now f*ck off !

Sometimes you have to sit there like a good natured family Labrador thats being dressed up by two year olds so as not to look a ****.

Agree, Christmas is not for weeks yet, the whole country revolves round it from late September ffs.

I share my office with a secretary to a clinical team I work with.

I got 2 white boards - one is currently blank and the other is covered in some of my work.

She only put tinsel around the blank one so as not to obstruct what is put on the board.

We got baubles hanging from the window though.

I'm not bothered but i would have issues if she put it around my monitor.
Neither of us have it on our desks.

What the **** are they doing putting up christmas decorations, they should be working! Plus there a health and safety hazard if put up before the 22nd December and if not removed on the 27th December.

Used to work in a place where it was much the same but our office was split in two, most of the women would be at one end and the blokes down the other. Blokes end, christmas decorations consisted of cans of beer and empty packets of mince pies. Womans end of the office looked like santas grotto, with every available surface covered in cheap tacky decorations and other associated crap.

How about the fat cow respects mine and puts them up 2 weeks later...

What happened to the 12 days of Christmas, not this over comercialized crap we now have to live with and work through.
