Aye, its mainly for vans/flat beds etc to check their load to see if they have been scrapping or whatever and then to check the fuel, red diesel can be a costly mistake!!

Hi Magic,

just a slight arguement with the comment that a sports cat will be loud, my TSL system is only slightly louder than standard, but in a nice way.

Except at full bore, of course !

I found an article on the same thing which is pretty interesting: Insurance wise, they seem to say that as long as you declare it to them they can't refuse to pay out if you claim.

Legality / penalty for DECAT?

Mines de-cat and declared!! If I'm caught I'll use the 'I thought it wasn't fueling correctly, thank you very much, I'll get it sorted straight away before it damages my engine, thank you again' line If you've got a classic WRX the resonator box in the centre section looks like there a cat still in place!!

Is this true? so i can have no cats on my subaru import wrx 95 and the police can't do anything, and its all legal?
