It is great See the other pics in my edit. It is a bit tired in places inside, the kitchen is c.1985, but overall I love it.

Same here but ours isn't as pretty (the building). New kitchen, bathrooms and most of the inside has been done up but it looks a bit tatty from the outside.

All of no relevance when staring at the view or sitting outside on a sunny day! n

Usually set between 20-22. It`s on from 6-7:30 in the morning and then 5-10 at night. House is well insulated and our attached neigbour is in all day which helps i guess.

town house, thermostat downstairs in the (always cold) hallway. Set it to 15degs these last few days and the rest of the rooms with their radiator thermostatic valves set to 4.5 and the house was just right.
It's amazing how a lot of us suffer from the phantom thermostat turner upper!

Jeezus John! Tightarse or what??? I thought us Welsh were tough and tight - I cycled to work in shorts today to much admiration/amusement to the girls on arrival with my red legs!

However we go for 21 degrees in the morning on a programmable stat. Boiler comes on for 0645, get up at 0730 (it actually achieved 18 today so the gas fire had to also go on for brekkie...)

More to the point, I got home after seeing Rob Brydon's show the other night and my parents were babysitting in 27 -TWENTYSEVEN degrees of blaring gas fire in my living room. I sweated and moaned a bit and was swiftly deemed to be out of order and unsympathetic to olde (sic) people I doubt it (especially as the gas payer)!!!

I didn't grow up with central heating, neither did my wife, and the cat doesn't seem to mind. I wouldn't set it above 18C even if energy was free. I'm certainly uncomfortable at 19C.

We have ours on number 4.

That heats the water in the heat exchanger to about 64 degrees.
