DaOne can I suggest you start a spreadsheet with all the parts you will need, so you can work out a realistic price for the conversion. Trust me, once you add up all the little bits, it gets expensive ... but better to know what you are letting yourself in for before you start.

Can I suggest that people confirm any "web" based pricing with the company concerned, because some companies clearly haven't up dated their web sites since the exchange rate chaos, and whilst they may have stock at the older pricing, some may not.

Thanks for all the input! This forum is pretty much the top in Subarus...

The quotes I mentioned are both drive-in drive-out with all ancillaries eg. turbos (gt for Powerstation, SC500 for Scoobyclinic packages), ECU (Ecutek iirc for Powerstation, Autronic for Scoobyclinic) etc etc.

The quotes are current as they were told to me last week.

Powerstation's package will need a Milltek (if still standard exhaust) and remap which adds another 1399+ vat.

That's why I asked about whether the SC450 package included exhaust (as mentioned earlier) and also FMIC.

I think Powerstation's deal will have FMIC as standard.

Hi Chris.

We're the longest established Impreza specialists in the UK, formed in 1999 (Scooby Mania), changed our name to Area 52 Autosport about a year ago as we now do EVO and Noble marques too.

As Duncan says, he's running some pretty big HP through his custom engine we did with him, including all of last year in Time Attack and still going strong!

Give us a call if we can help at all?

Mike.
