Eta Tauri Site Impreza Reference - WRX Frenzy
Have a look in the above link to find the 7 digit code.
However, there is no way that vehicle left the factory like that - theres alot of work gone into building it though. Also, assuming its just a re-shell and is actually in good overall condition its still nearly 3K over forecourt prices of V4 STI RAs. Theres a white one close to me for £4,450 which isn't even a private sale price. The most sort after (IMO) 4 doors V5/6 STI RAs in sonic blue aren't selling at £7K.
Have a look under the car at the front wishbones - see if they are alloy. Won't mean anything but will show how much of the donor car was added.

If the original car was light rolled, flood damage or possibly fire it would make sense to buy the cheapest car to donate to.

1999 Subaru Impreza, CS extra Modification - all pics, specs, parts and prices
Has it got the DCCD clocks too?
EDIT - the reference to rolled damaged etc isn't to the current shell obviously. Wherever the running gear originally belonged is what was rolled, damaged etc. Its probably quite a straight car to be fair. Whoever went to all that trouble certainly wouldn't have used a **** car to start with.

I dont know what a '3R' refers to in the model code, but the rest implies that the car is a 1998MY Impreza 1.5CS Extra (a conclusion drawn because 'Flavone Green Metalic' was only available on the lower model, so it cant be an SX) Im guessing that this gem came through Dubai or Cyprus?

I see you still have it up for sale
If I where you I would split it you would have to knock about 5k of that asking price to sell it legit if it is legit in the first place and not 2 cars

Its quite likely the owner had no prior knowledge considering the amount of special editions Subaru invented for the Imprezas. Also as mentioned the base car for the STIRA parts was probably in very good condition because changing all those parts is hardly an afternoons work and not worth doing if the base car is a shed.
Although I would have to agree the price is very unrealistic. Not the best colour, checkered history, 1000 of others to choose from.

To defend a chap who is new here and since being here had us all ripping his car to shreds, its not quite 2 cars.

Keep it mate nothing older than a Y reg nowadays is gonna sell for that much money. Wait till things go back to normal, put it up for re-sale at an ample price
Or spray it black and keep it. Plenty of good sprayers in our parts mate

The car is built using 2 cars and maybe totally legit but I would break it before finding out its not otherwise or you may lose the car and will be worth more in bits anyway.
