[QUOTE=84of300;8359022]Interesting thread

Funny how I see it. Sometimes on SN, anyone with a fast wit, tends to be classed as a bully, keyboard warrior etc. Even though in actual fact, they are not. They are just bloody funny.[QUOTE]

I never once thought NACRO was funny....... and I know humour when I read it

Its the ones with self-proclaimed wit that make me laugh, but not in a good way. Those who think sesquipedalian put-downs are a substitute for good manners and an excuse to belittle others.

I had to look that word up

I know what you mean, but what I find funny someone else won't. Just the way things are.

I have never been fond of people who put down others and tend to ignore them

some of my thoughts, i dont know cob, but some of my mates have met him
and said he was ok, so i will assume that in real life he is, but with all due respect,
some people are just pussies and like to winge about things, i know the chap was "disabled" but his debt/job threads were IMO pathetic.

he could have easily done some of the cleaning jobs i posted up without an issue, but always found a way to winge about them one way or another. it was bollocks, its much easier to just winge about life then get stuck in and clean somebody's toilet, if he had of been cleaning some blokes toilet and then winging about it i would have had some respect for him, but refusing to do it because he thought he was better then that, as at least he was making an effort to help himself rather then just cry into his pillow about the world, all this while getting himself into more debt/trouble, this is not worthy of any respect whatsoever.

if things went **** up for me i would do any job that paid money rather then cry and bitch about the world on a forum, while getting myself into more trouble.

infact i have had a hell of a past 6 months with work, due to the rain and all this credit crunch bollocks instead of just bitching about it, i went into action to try and sort things out, including me pounding the pavements and giving out flyers, giving away freebies to help drum up trade.

it would have been a doddle for me to just sit on here, and winge about how i can only buy the missus a dvd for christmas or whatever.

some people just get on with things when the going gets tough and some people just break down and cry about it.

nasty PM`s and emails?
had them as well
i have also had people from SN trying to have me sacked from 2 jobs so far

not stopped me posting here, why would it? i am not some kid in playschool (although some would prefer if i fooked off i expect lol )

men should act like friggen men and stop all this namby pamby bollocks, i blame the gays

I agree with a lot of that...... if i have debts and bills to pay then I would do any job that keeps my head above water, cleaning, taxi, McD's etc......

I am fortunate to not of been in Andy's position (and I hope I never am)...... pride can be a **** thing at times

Just let me get this straight. People were sending him abusive PM because he posted on here?

How very odd.

With regards to what he posted, perhaps it was his was way of letting off steam, just because someone copes in one way, doesn't mean we all follow the same procedure.

I find it utterly bizarre that someone would PM another person with abuse. In fact, such people should probably seek some form of phychactric help.

I think it would be a good idea to post any abusive PM's on this forum, for all to see. However, the last time I did that when Narco was involved, I got banned!

Well as a long time serial c.o.b. abuser, (in person )
I'd like to say that whilst I couldn't open up to a forum with my problems in the way he did, I have been close to Andy's situation, and back then there was no internet.

Perhaps too much information was a bad thing, but how does someone with a damaged wrist do a cleaning job ?

In time I would hope he wanders back in and says hello !

dunx

P.S. hanging round with ilogical1 can't have helped

P.P.S. the guy sending me threatening PM's got banned, when I thought a slapped wrist would suffice !

Just made me think of this sketch from 'The Young Ones'.

Here

Hands up who likes me...Barstards.

BTW Although COB threw his toys out with me once, we did send a couple friendly pm's to each other. He did tend to live his life via Scoobynet but then everybody is different. We joined at the same time and he posted 10000 times to my 500 but that means nothing, I have kids, so other things to do

it was not just cleaning jobs, although its still easy to do them, but plenty of other, easier jobs are available, besides, if the likes of me can go and build fooken seats for nissan in a hectic production line with a broken big toe (i was a temp and had a lot of debt at the time = time off = instant sacking), or the time i accidently punched some blokes van for cutting me up and spackered my wrist and had to go and bang 635 driveshafts into gearboxes at work the next day on the production line, i am sure somebody who is not a ***** can waft a pink duster about somebody's office

or work a till at a fast food place, etc etc etc etc

But if that wrist injury is from a place of work and it is going through the courts, he can't go and work elsewhere can he?

that depends on weather he is looking for hand outs so he can sit at home all day posting on here! Look, if push comes to shove, I would do anything for money - and I mean anything! I couldn't stand back and watch my house, car etc just go - who knows, maybe his bird might have had enough by now! Act like a victim, and you'll get treated like one - not my cuppa though!
