Why do you find it do difficult to accept - some people don't swallow NuLabour's cr*p! Whatever stats you quote won't change that.

I always remember the 80's, 2 million was nothing, those were the days of 5 million unemployed, just imagine how many of those "other" people were not accounted for....

Ho-hum, here we go again, same old same old.
FYI, they are building a new power station near us on the banks of the Humber. The work has been subcontracted to an Italian company, who have PUBLICLY stated that they are to bring ALL their workforce from Italy, or the ex-Eastern Bloc
Meanwhile, my lad, a welder/plater by trade, made redundant this week, is STILL looking for work
Please stop with the "home-grown wasters" type comments. OK?
