LOL at the plates comments, it will be going back onto S plates soon so the England flag will be going.

Scott good job u noticed that knocking that could of been bad if it hadn't been found.

OK u would have to be pretty eagle eye to spot the mod from today, boost gauge hasn't moved and the flaps were on the car when i got it.

This pic should give it away:

Kev, if your missing the vents that much, you can pop down to my house and sit with the vent open and think of what you can have one day

Forgot to say Dean, very nice indeed . I've seen you popping around blackwood now and again in your old car

At the moment its sat in the garage being worked on.

The car is infact a STI 555 not a RA, but I've just bought a STI RA box and only just ordered me a 3.9 rear diff to match, which I was quite lucky as the 3.9 diffs are like gold dust at the mo.

I'll be retro fitting the box using a Neetronics controller giving me 12 settings of DCCD control adjustments.

Anyway I'll stop hogging your thread and start afresh, one in projects and one in our section.

Well done Dean, welcome to the Type R club mate... Can't belive you have swapped the UK beast after all that work, but needs must I suppose...

I don't like the wheels mate, they don't suit the car but I'm sure you will have that in hand before too long...

This colour does look stunning when it's clean

The Wheels will be going pretty much as soon as i can afford to spend any money on the car (when i know i have a job). Thinking of sticking with 17s this time, so if u see anything a bit special for sale (like the Works) let me know.

Sounds good mate When u looking to get it on the road??

I had a very worrying moment with the DCCD when i first brought the car home, it does some strange things at slow speeds when u start to lock the diff, thought i was going to be buying a new diff, done a search on here to find it was all normal ,

TBH Dean I wouldn't use the diff lock too often on tarmac, you can end up buggering the center diff... The old DCCD is not a forgiving system mechanically... Good on grass though...

Yeah i've pretty much kept it rolled all the way back (fully open) since, from what i understand this is best for dry conditions and rolled slightly forward in wet/slippery conditions.
