Shared a house with John Nichol for three years when we were both in the RAF. Had some great parties! He was the Tornado Nav who got shot down with John peters in the first Gulf war.

Great mates with the bloke as he progressed through his flying career. Even got all his stories at a BBQ a few days before he flew down. Met up with him a few times when he got back from Iraq. Still a good lad even though he was tortured and had the crap kicked out of him most nights.....

Haven't spoken to him for a good few years now sadly. Though he pops up every now and again on TV. plus I got a mention in The Sun as 'sobbing' when I heard he'd been captured... that got me the pi55 extracted for a few weeks...

I used to hang round with Lee Naylor when he played for Wolves who now plays for Celtic, Still friends with his brother and still see Lee from time to time.


Also I was round Nigel Spinks house the otherday, The ex Aston Villa goalkeeper, He is now a Goalkeeper coach at Wigan Athletic, Very nice bloke, I did think he would have had a bigger house and a nice car on the drive, but he lived in a normal semi detached house and drove a 08 VW Passat!!!
