It's a double whammy though. Inaccuracy of speedo and timing equipment. A second could easily gained (as in more) with true readings from specialised equipment.

My mate Barry rekons my car, although a non turbo, is pretty quick as there is no lag like wot u get on a turbo car.
Barry did most of the tunning
See my scobby
<
He rekons 5.5 seconds - but thats his motorsport experence - no timing equipment.

Well, my RA's standard 0-60's ment to be 4.7, with 260bhp. I guess, with 330bhp, i'd be in the low 4's. I've also saved a few kg's in weight with headers, cat's and seats, so around the 1150kg mark.
This gives a 287 bhp/ton. In a lardy newage (1475kg), you'd need 423bhp for the same power to weight.
All i know is it's mental!
Oh, and the 30-130 test, i don't think my car would get their with it's ratios!
That car calculator says 3.6sec, which i'd be amazed if i was near that!

All these on paper " my mate timed me figures" are not exactly accurate.
Same with the jokers Iphone.
The only real way to get accurate figures is with proper timing gear.
As for the "Do I know about diminishing returns comment", of course I do I've spent a fortune tuning a scooby!!!!" LOL
Cheers for the neg. Some people really don't understand humorous sarcasm. Just as well the infract system can no longer be abused

Pretty low with the RA's I think, mine is about the 300 bhp mark, no eletrics or anything so fairly light and I guestimated around the sub 4.5 second mark
