It winds me up reading about this on forums, seams to be happening alot lately.

Due to the crap, ****e country we live in they will propley not get court and if by any chance they do it will be a slap on the hand and told not to do it again.

The laws in this country need to change and fast.

Bring back the death penantly i say.

Get some pics up James let's see what damage has been done, you can't justify claiming on a grands worth of car it's not worth it for your no claims but lets see what can be fixed easy enough.

i would think that could be a right off! not sure what you value your car at.

Might be worth looking at a pay out and getting the car back off insurance company IMHO

even tho its all declared, thats more if the whole car was stolen, so they would pay out a higher figure. or if parts had been stolen of it. it would need a new wing, rear passenger door cud b repaired, front looks like its hit impact bars so new. the scratches wud need to be flatted out, and re coloured and both sides and bonnet fully relaqured.

u have have to take into considerated labour rates and hours it would take to remove doors, gut then, prep new doors, re build them, paint, polish, repair damge that can be, prime it, paint it etc

so it would seem they would write it off due to work invloved, and they will only use genuine subaru panels, so expensive.

personally i wudnt claim if it has that many mods, and get 2nd hand parts, switch everything over and get a good bodyshop 2 tart it back up.

i kno thats cost from ur pockets but depends if u want 2 keep car or not.

your probably looking at 3000+ worth of damge when u add up parts, labour, paint materials.

Really sorry to hear about that mate, where was the car parked? It takes me back to my post regarding the 4lads killed in my home town Bradford very recently when they crashed into a chip shop after stealing the car...no pity on them what so ever,as far as I'm concerned I hope the ******* that did that to your car get hit by truck! jealous, envious, dregs of society who should have their hands and chopped off at the wrists...seems as though they couldn't nick it so they vandalised it further. Really feel for you pal, hope it all works out.
