You will feel worse. Actually the worse you're feeling during a cold/flu the harder your body is fighting the illness. The cold virus thrives in the bodies normal temperature of thirty seven degrees. To kill the virus the body elevates it's temperature as this will be too warm to harbor the cold/flu. The downside is whilst it will kill the virus eventually it makes you feel awful too, as the normal biological functions like sleep/metabolism are affected by the temperature increase.

Ok went to docs yesterday as its a work requirement we phone them if we are off for a few days. Anyways he asked to see me so went in and I do have a chest infection. Now on 500 of Amox and signed off for another week.
Hopefully I will be right as rain in a few days.
