Looks that way doesn't it. Cruise been running for 5+ years and not a single incident apart from one of us getting nabbed for an illegal number plate...

oh well, im not getting involved in petty arguments about it, just stating that some drivers think they have a concorde under their bonnet, and thats why i do not attend many meets.

Pezza WITH RESPECT

Its not petty when you accuse a well established well behaved meet of being attended by muppets!

As Chris stated the cruise has been trouble free for the many years it has run.

Please don't be so quick to judge

I don't often bite on these things but you are talking rubbish IMHO

Just to add some of the subaru's that join the cruise are not part of the esc or any other car club and no one can be held responsible for their behaviour

And also accidents do happen even when people are not driving like muppets..... I think you get more fools when on a normal drive somewhere than on the cruise...

Pezza I am unsure how you can comment if you quote "do not attend many meets" ??

One of the many great things about our club is the respect for each other. Yes some of us have a quick blat through a few tunnels and have been known to be a "bit" noisy on occasion, but never endangering or antagonising any road users (apart from the time brian got cut up by a pickup)
as as Chris has stated that a highly publicised and known event ie: posers cruise, has never been clamped down on, because it is organised in a civil and professional manner, even as far as getting permission from Tesco's for the initial grouping.
The club cannot be held responsible for idiots, but as history dictates, these people tend to go elsewhere, once they realise ESC isn't a handbrake and teatray, trailer park chavfest.
Long may it continue and people either attend or dont attend, it is their choice after all.
I personally hate late night car meets and 99% of the people that attend i'm sure, but its my choice not to go, which means:-
a) i dont get hurt
b) i dont get nicked
c) i dont get cold

Posers cruise is historic now, much like the old yank cars cruising down the front when i was small, to the fast fords of thre 80's, when i learned to drive.

long may it continue, in safe and friendly manner !!!
