some time last year i was down in Cornwall when i saw (from nowhere) a crappy looking CRX get right up my A##E. so i dropped and went and i have to say i had the edge but not by much to be fair. Mine is only a pretty much standard UK turbo though. Back end of Feb i should have a GT-B though so i'll be looking for him again!!!!!!LOL

I have a lot of Starlet GT's around where I live.

I don't like to play even though there are some very nice carrigeways where you could simply reach high speeds. But one night on the way to work I gave it some beans to find one of these Starlets keeping up with me. Wasn't until I igored my rev limit buzzer light(on the STi's) and took it above the 6.6k revs (yes 6.6k I set it too) that I pulled away.
When we got to a round about with traffic lights I asked him what he'd done to the car (the spool of the turbo was a big give away). He stated he was dyno'd at 265bhp and about 280 lbft. No wonder I said.

Power to weight!!!

Subaru's are great great cars. But there are some very shifty hot hatches out there today including what someone else said about a Corsa VXR.

Another guy by me has a 205 GTi with a super charger and that goes some.

Im from the Wolverhampton area, it isnt a light blue impreza WR1 coloured Corsa is it??????

There"s a lad in Cannock with a red Clio Mk1 with some sort of turbo strapped to it, has a roll cage stripped interior and 2 bucket seats. Was with my mate in his modified WRX the other day and lets just say the clio passed us on the otherside of the road with ease and pulled away into the distance!!! Must have been pushing close to 300bhp easy!!!!!

I knew a lad who had a Seat ibiza, stripped out with 2 rally seats in it and £££ under the bonnet, about 380 BHP and good for over 180 MPH, on a dry road there wasnt much got near it but from the outside just looked like an ibiza with a 3 inch exhaust

It shocked a few people,

Sleepers are the dogs bo&&ocks

mate from Ossett had a fiesta 1.1 with a 1.8 turbo engine under the bonnet and he gave me a bit of a pasting once.

There used to be a robin reliant with a v8 engine inside from the Cas area that put me to shame once too.
