Don't venture into general very often, had a go in a mates WR1 and was impressed, been in a few Scoobs but that was the quickest, was interested how it compares to the RB320, similar power but the performance figures are quite different, 0-100 is 10.67 for the WR1 and 12.2 for the RB320, a second and a half difference, is that just down to gearing, timing differences, surprised me as on paper they are more similar than the figures suggest, in fact the RB320 should by rights be a bit faster.
Also, should i decide to get a Scoob, what would I need to feel noticeably quicker than a WR1 and how much would I need to spend, could it be as reliable and well sorted as a factory special like the WR1 ?

Just rememebr that J4CKO was asking what car would outperform the WR1, and others have just jumped on the bandwagon as usual. Even as standard they are a quality motor.
T5NYW. Is there anything this guy doesn't know about Imprezas?

I can remember having a desktop background of a WR1 back in 2004 and creaming over it. For me the colour, PFF7`s and front grill really did it
My only beef with the car is that I dont think the price difference between an equivalent age type UK STi with PPP was justifiable. I went with an 03 STi PPP with less mileage then an 04 WR1 at a subaru dealer because it was 4.5k cheaper.
If the price difference was less then a couple of grand i may have gone for the WR1 for the colour, DCCD and PFF7`s but not for 4.5k
I think another thorn in the side was that some WRX`s have that icelle (sp) paint colour as well! so much for limited paint colour.

PMSL Steady Bob, I could never live up to that statement, although I don't think there are many versions of scoob I've not road tested
I loved my bugeye, so perhaps style is over rated

WR 1mposter is a real life testament to the Petter Solberg Edition being appropriate for those late developers in life... Also known to be a little challenged in the brain department. God loves some who TRIES in life... even if he does have to TRY to breath, TRY to breath and remember he needs to TRY to breath.

Perhaps sometime in your boring day you should learn to go the toilet, you must empty the sh*t out of you at some point .......
When do I breath again

I think Wr1s are great, way nicer than the RB320. The blobeye is my favourite shape though so that's why! 0-60 in 4.1 secs sounds good enough to me!!!!

I love my WR1... Had it for last 4.5 years and love it more and more each time I drive it. There is a theory that all RB320 drivers are ACTUALLY uglier than WR1 owners !!! Don't shoot the messenger.
