Sounds nice...
I was looking at MRO styling and Corbeaus too, quite nice,
instead i'm gonnna see if i can get two second hand seats from a newer model, waaay cheaper. maybe a 3 piece front spoiler too, but thats it for the outside. i've got a service coming up soon, so it Would be nice to be able to afford that...

I tried to get Turbo seats for my car but they were too expensive, it was cheaper to get top of the range reclining Corbeaus Mad But I like them Lots
Do you know how to put a piccy up? Have you got a piccy of your beast? Been to any meets at all? Where abouts are you?
Cheers

I tried posting pictures, but my web address is pretty dodgy, so i'm gonna try it again when i get home tonight.
I've only had the car for about 3-4 months now, so i haven't had much interaction with other owners. (but there's a guy here at work whos had the prodrive upgrade, it looks well worth it.) should meet more owners soon enough though.
I'm from west lothian BTW, it's really dull, grey and full of sad boy racer types. as i'm sure many will agree.

Boy racers You mean Nova driver Yeah, they're everywhere (now come with added blue washer jets )
3-4 months is about the same for me. Mines a P-reg with 50k on the clock. Got a friend with a Turbo and another m8 has a WRX STi Import *(fast as fap )
I think Im going to a couple of meets soon, so should meet a few regulars on here
What colour / spec is your car?

Anyway, It's a light green MY95 with 76k on the clock, just standard 5 door turbo model i'm afraid,
there's 2 pictures here.

All the same
have seen plenty cars with the famous Scooby Scoop *thieving Gypsies lol*
I imagine they need the scoop to vent the inside of the car so that when an Impreza appears they're embarresement is cooled off or something like that...
I love my Scooby love driving it looking at it... etc
Would prefer a Turbo though Another 2 years or so away yet

Are you 21 then? I would'nt mind a P1 or 22b or WRX STi Viii. All v.nice
I dont like the new look Impreza though (sorry all those who have it) but me and the look of the car just dont agree....its the lights + the grill... I can just about manage the new look with the Headlight conversion Not too bad then. But gimmie a Wrx STi Viii Anyday!
Any plans to mod your car at all? I still need to buy an actual Scooby do as so many Impreza owners (on here anyway ) seem to have!

yep, 21. What about you?
I've gotta say, i thought the new models looked hideous, but then they grew on me. Especially with the morettes and the wrc style rear spoiler.
I wanted a subaru for about 4 years before getting one, Further testimony to, the old saying "the good things come to those who wait, and blow all their money in a oner"

21 also. Who are you insured with + how much? Thats the main reason I took the Sport option, I only have 1 years no claims and I still get kicked in the nuts with a stonking £1300
I darent think about Turbo Insurance.....
Im with Directline btw.

I'm with Dire line as well, 0 NCB, and wait for it. a whopping
£3000 pounds, absolutley scandalous. I always drive carefully, especially around town and all that. so i feel really conned.
Although they did start me off with a 75% ncb. so i'll have 2 in december. Wahey.

scooby drivers in glasgow mostly wave, but the old variety seem to look away in disgust. always brings a wee smile to my face when a fellow scooby driver waves, you sort of see the evil smirk saying, "you know what your driving".
keep it up

impreza_UK, i partialy agree about the new style impreza, but if you havent done it go to your local dealer and eye up the STI
that is one hell of a car and doesnt look as unatractive as its WRX stablemate, the normal WRX is not too pretty unmodified.
I know what you guys mean about insurance though i would never pay 3k!
I am being fleeced to the tune of 1786 and that is cos of my mods, they only wanted 1300 without the mods, but i like them!
have fun and give us a wave!
