I am 17 stone 6' 1", i did Shotakan Karate for two years ( blue belt) and spent another two years in the T/A which shpowed me how to disable/hurt people. I keep a 4 cell maglite and a certain spray (i brought in the states) in my car @ all times
dependant on the numbers i would give 'em hell. I work hard for what i have and would defend it as required.

Having said that my life/quality of life is important to me and my other half so i believe i would weigh up the odds and give it my best.

I believe it really depends on the circumstances, two of 'em abnd i would think nothing of it, if they are armed then the cars is theirs.

shame it has come to this. It ois about time the government took this crime seriously, 10 years manditory, more fore the use of weapons.

Yes i know that a 'certian spray' is illegal - i would not give it a second thought if mine or my other halfs saftey was at stake.

Paul..same here..Brown belt Wado-Ryu,many years ago though...put on weight since then..,but i do carry,in-car,a pair of sticks with a chain connecting them..Although i left them on view by accident once when my car was being set-up...and a certain member of a RSBB,called me a wan*er for seeing them,not to my face obviously...

i can sort the cs gas out for you.i always carry this in the car and this is what i would use.if a little blast in the face didnt stop them i would fill the car up with it as i got out and i can assure you they would not drive off in it,its good stuff!the best stuff to get is the gel type as it sticks!

imatruckas,you dont spray just anyone just coz they look a bit rough!if someone decides to drag u out of car it would work well.i cant speak from personal experience as i have never used it myself but its always there(ive had it used on me and it aint nice)i can still remember it vividly and it was 19 years ago by the friendly french police.someone deciced to attack my g/f late one night while she was walking home from a late shift and she used it and reduced a fairly strong bloke to a tearful heap laying on the ground.
call it bravado or stupidity but someone would have to knock me out or half kill me to get my car,and im confident it wont happen

b) it works and you get nicked, jacker gets off with another community service which he never does anyway and then finds you (at court probably where you go to face posecution for using the CS) and then slaps you silly with 5 mates.

one other thing... for all you people out there that have "tools" of one description or another, when you get out of your motor and the baddies see what you have got they will do one of two things:
a. they will turn tail and run which is good news!

b. they will fight, therefore you MUST get in there first, if you hesitate for one second you will wake up in A and E having had a very bad day out! so you need to make your mind up what you r going to do b fore you even get out your car.

Nah..good point,just me and weopons sometimes.....but to be perfectly honest with you,and i think i can speak for most,I dont know what i would do if by myself......as you gotta remember,as said,if you beat the crap out of a person.....you will be picking the soap up for some hells angel in prison ,or you could be killed...tuff decision..not...death anyday,rather than prison..

Alternitively i would do the "Holy Grail" thing...and "run away".

I havent got a clue what I would do - depends on loads of things:-

1. Do I feel lucky?

2. Do they feel lucky?

3. Have I got the wife and kid in the car?

4. Are they armed? with what?

5. Can I be ar5ed to fight? its only metal, plastic and rubber!

6. Would the thought eat at me every day if I didnt have a crack at them? Probably!

7. Have I got 4 of my 20 stone body builder mates in the car??

In most cases I would allow them to take it I reckon, I would argue that I am probably bigger than Tiggs!! But a screwdriver/knife/bullet in me hurts!! and I am a big baby

Thats a tough one, i would defend myself only on knowledge that the attacker didnt have a gun. If they didnt then theyre gonna get whats coming to them, it all depends on my mood tbh. I have martial arts training too but the key is to be on the defensive, as others who also do it knows they can do serious harm

Get their regi and drive off to nearest police station. Report it befoer they do, in case its legit case. Also if you have the time and ***** take a quick snap of them with the disposable camera that you carry at all times (mmm.. maybe not). Do not reverse over them or get out and beat them to a pulp, you may be a t/a or sas specialist - but for every one that good thers probably someone else better (ie. a gun - doh!)
