Porker 996 Turbos
#31
As far as I'm aware these issues are still on going with Porsche CR, and one of the chaps has gone to Hartech, but I'm sure that SOME OPC's will relent during these difficult times.
These aren't OPC decisions, these are written in black and white on the T&C's from Porsche.
I know the turbo engine is of the earlier GT1 block so RMS/shaft failure isn't a particular worry.
I just think I need peace of mind.
Since my last post I've spoken to someone via a friend who works for the Inchcape group dealing with warranties.
It looks like he may be able to get one of theirs for the Porsche.
I'll find out more in the morning.

Keep us informed Zip of if you can get a warranty for the TT. Limitations, price etc.
This is something I would want for piece of mind when I come to get one. I did think RSJ did offer warranties. This might be on just cars they sell. They do have a rather nice Black TT in right now.
It's too much of a risk on such a car to go without some kind of warranty. Engine failure will be too expansive. Have to keep reminding myself that although I can now afford one, it is a £100k Sportscar/supercar.
