lets say they buy, in this case a car, for 10k, they charge £1.50 per entry therefore if 6666 people enter they break even, now some folks will trying several times, so they will make a mint doing it.

I'm well aware that the chances of winning are very slim but then so is the lottery and I do that when I remember to. I'm well aware that the lottery is almost like voluntary taxation.

They wouldn't offer these things as a prize unless they were making a shed full of cash out of it.

 

You can have mine for £1 a raffle ticket, once Ive sold fifteen thousand Ill pick the winner :Z

I'd rather the 17 year old kid dropped it off - far better driver and a much better future IMHO!
