when u turn ignition on the pump could turn on briefly to prime the system
use a multi meter on the wires for voltage can also check while cranking if u have a assistant. (if u can't get hold of multimeter use a 12v bulb in holder with the two wires)
i had a funny no starting with mine the other day and checked all similar things to us and also concluded i was not hearing the fuel pump.
turned out the 4 wire multi plug that goes to fuel pump had come loose and was making poor connection. think it got disturbed when i done a dump run on sunday and had the wagon full up lol
Also i find it starts better if you turn ignition on wait for a few seconds before cranking which allows everything to setup.
