Less pointless excessive tipping and you could knock time off that 10 years.

And around we go.........

The guys serving you on one of these ships are earning around $400US a month. The number of guys getting tipped is a small percentage of the crew so if you blame the company for not paying adequate wages then you have to raise the lower rate of the 800 or so junior crew onboard. That's going to cost you a lot more than just tipping a few people, though would be lot fairer given the guys behind the scenes are working just as hard for your enjoyment.

think about how much you have paid for the cruise etc and the vast waste of food etc and stuff you will never use etc but pay for. so much is wasted and if they cut back a bit etc they could pay the staff a decent wage. I never ever tip . I am far too secure in my life to have to. Most only tip because they are insecure or want to show off etc. do you tip your shop sales staff or sales person in a news agent who might also be earning peanuts.

grow ***** and dont tip. make the companies run the cruise more efficiently and stop wasting so much
( worked on a cruise in 1997, murder as i have never met so many "divas" in my life. And was shocked at how some of the Filipno staff where treated)
