The thing is with any car, if you buy it brand new you know as soon as you drive off you loose alot of cash, see how much a brand new RR is as thats what his was.
He must have some sort of sense to have such a large construction company. End of the day as I said previously he has always wanted a RR and thats what he has bought with the extra's that he wanted.

Typical slagging off from SN I like it, I wouldn't spend that money but then when you have as much money as your mate obviously does he doesn't need to give a **** what others think. He is buying something that he has always wanted so a lucky guy privileged enough to do so. Doesn't matter what it is worth to anyone else

I know I did but when people start to say someone needs a slap or is stupid due to buying a car, that is un called for mainly because they don't know the guy. End of the day I asked for opinions on the car not the person who bought it.
I personally hate blue subaru's with Gold Wheels but I dont go about saying your a complete t*t for buying that because it looks crap as its personal taste.
Any further comments are welcome about the car, even thought they will all be its sh*ite lol.

Personally, if I had enough money, I'd buy a Black RRS, and get it over to Kahn, for their body kit, wheels, and there tuning products.
And who does the tuning for them??? COSWORTH.
Then I'd happily stick 2 fingers up at anyone who didn't like it.

He doesnt play football mate. He has a construction Company.
He didnt want his car touched by Kahn as he wasnt keen on the kits and also all the local RR owners have been to Kahn (and they play for united or some other team lol) He went to Arden to be different as his is the only one in the UK in that colour and with the extras he had done.
In respect to tuning, I think Arden are quite capable of tuning up as they seem quite successful in that area.

To be honest, I think the RR Sport has had its day as the car to be seen in for those who are bothered about such things, there are too many of them to remain exclusive, body kits, however expensive generally just cheapen a car, sure its impressive and I am sure the lad is wadded, dead hard and everything but I wouldnt want one, standard or enhanced.
The trouble with thread like this is you are inviting opinions on a rather expensive and garish looking vehicle, the temptation is to think that everyone who responds is jealous and vindictive, it may be the case sometimes or it may just be a little flash and vulgar even for Subaru Impreza owners.
But the lad has obviously done well to be able to afford it, for that I congratulate him, just perhaps not on his taste in vehcles, its not completely disgraceful, looks well done but its a bit ott.

Well put mate.
There's irony for you, members of a Subaru based board slagging off someone's freedom of choice as being in bad taste or a waste of money.
Last time I checked Impreza's had become pretty tacky, no better than the competition and as far as value was concerned, well, lets just say residuals aren't great.
Peronsonally RR Sport's are not my cup of tea (would have an AMG G wagen myself) but can totally see the point of not spending 100k on a 2 seater supercar that can't clear a speed bump, let alone visit a construction site.
The other point that many regularly miss is that if this is a company asset (as I suspect it will be) simplistically the depreciation will reduce taxable profit anyway, so the actual cost is simply the cost of financing the purchase (or the opportunity loss of the interest on the £100k, which is **** all these days).
He'd be taxed on it, of course, as a company car, but that would be the same for any similarly priced vehicle.
He also gets to go to clients who may think pimped RR, but they won't think "flash **** in a ferrari" or "pratt in a Scoob"

always have a soft spot for RR,s (had a classic for quite a while)
and being the owner of a Classic Wagon -- which lets be honest is no looker I cant really be too picky on looks/taste
I like it -- would like it better if it was Black though, but it is a crazy price -- but as has been said probably all tax deductable, so we all share the pain

They attract so much bad attention it's sad really that a once great car is associated with trouble. So this really is the last place that should be slinging mud at other cars with a less than favourable reputation.

Agree with REV - it may have cost the earth but it still looks cack. As does anything with Kahn alloys or similar.
It is also meant to be an offroader - that's not going ANYWHERE off road.
Top of the range Rangie with big RR alloys and maybe even the full Autobiography kit - yes, bazzed up waste of cash in blood clot red - no.

The point is his car is what he wants and likes just the same as you want to do and like your exercise routines that other people couldn't give two hoots about.
