I run the Vredestein at the moment. I bought them as I am selling the car in 2 months and wanted a cheapish set of winter tyres to run for 3 months. I find them good in snow and slippery roads but the tread is VERY soft and they move around alot on dry road. Might be something to do with the W pattern.

For the past 5 years I have run Pirelli winter sports and for my money were the best winter tyre I have used. Expensive but a good alround tyre with a sporty feel and long life. I always felt confident running those tyre

bloke on ebay has loads of sets of impreza 15" gravel wheels for sale, although i suspect the offsets might not allow fitment to normal body cars (think they are 5mm offset!)

he made have made a mistake with the offsets mind
