Paul you took the words out of my mouth

We have a 2 year old and a 3 year old boy, now they are very well behaved, the 3 year old already has good road sense and knows not to run around when in the vicinity of cars....that said...he's still a 3 year old and I can't run the risk that he won't try and dart into the road whilst we're unloading the rest of the clan from the car.

When I go to Tesco on my own, I park at the back away from other cars and walk the short distance to the store entrance, that way, hopefully, I won't get a supermarket ding to my A4 (note to some I do not drive a tank)

But when we go to Tesco as a family I will try my best to park in the parent and toddler spaces as they are on the side of the store and much safer for children.

I can't believe some of the comments on here...I don't inflict my children on anyone, they sit in the trolley and, in the majority, are very well behaved (it's at home they drive us mad )

What bugs me about these kiddie freaks is when they pass you on the motorway doing the ton and on the back window theres the oblgatory "baby on board sign in the rear window.
This translates as "i expect everyone on the road to respect my family, but i have no respect for anyone elses family".
And then rant about how they deserve preferential parking, or f@ck off to work so both parents can have both front feet in the trough earning the coin, leaving the kids with total strangers, thus negating their responsibilities as parents.

We do pretty much the same, we have a 6 y/o and a 3 y/o and i make sure they use the green cross code each and every time we cross a road. However being children they can be erratic, playing get distracted, etc and that is one reason for parents

Our two behave (mostly) when walking around the store and we encourage to help with the shopping picking up stuff and putting it in the trolley, especially the older one who is now reading and then packing away at the till. As much as anything in volving them saves them getting bored and 'creating'

Ours tend to save up being little b*ggers until they get home - bless 'em

It bugs you does it, life is just too short... so then, You know that these same "Kiddie freak" Baby on Board driving at 100MPH+ parents then come on SN and 'rant'on about getting preferential treatment - are you a clairvoiant or do you follow them home and watch through the window whilst they log in... another priceless comment!

Oh and do tell, what is a kiddie freak, cannot wait to find out... Do you actually mean parents???

Just so you can get some perspective and understand the real resons behind the BoB signs
What Car? Q&A - What are 'baby on board' stickers for? - What Car?

Is it half term?

Your door is SO GETTING IT whingy pants - and try to sue a toddler Mr Baddass. (I also suggest you get a b life mate - although I know I too had little to say to kids when I too was in my nappies and clubbing, and didnt have the full picture)

In fact I wish I'd dinged that rusty transit van next to me in daddy and self inflicted dastardly beasts parking at Tesco on Sunday - although he had more muscles and power tools than me. Maybe that tosser was you, making a significant and altruistic point for humankind LOL

As you were... Grrrrrr!!!!

The reason i bought my car is so i can go to the shops etc I'm not worried about it being stolen or dented, i just try and prevent it by making sure i always park it, in decent areas.

So in trying to prevent it means you're parking in a Parent & Child or worse a disabled space?

Maybe when you grow up, you'll understand just how selfish you are...

Although i don't park in disabled spaces i'm just making an arguemental point to see what the do gooders like yourself say. In saying that the only "disabled" people who seem to use them are fat messes who due to laziness can't walk.

I still stand by parking in family spots though

FYI if i did get my door smacked like what was mentioned in one of the above posts by a child, i would just get a solicitor involved as to why the child wasn't under proper supervision whilst damaging my car.

Yeah - toddlers in the dock!!!

I would just mention that I saw an Elise in Ikea once cheekily parked in a 'sperm meets egg' parking spot that was usually reserved for grown ups. Some dastardly parent (no doubt driven over the edge due to the constant pressures of battling brats) had 'modified' the Elise with some unpleasant accessories and extras. Now far be it from me to suggest such a thing could happen to you (especially as you have a 'solicitor') but its just a kindly warning to BEWARE OF BRAT UNLOADING POINTS when staking your human rights claims!

So if confronted - would you move? Say it was the last parent space and you were followed into the car park and rather ignorantly parked in a space that isn't meant for you... would you move if they asked you to?

Al least your mother likes you. It may involve you one day, especially as same sex couples can apply to adopt.

Oi! Can you keep this thread on-topic please

Seriously, just make sure that you do not associate yourself with the vehicle, being its driver or of any presence at the site. They wont listen to common sense or fair play - only the letter of the law and what it will cost them to pursue their pound of flesh. Play the game back...
