Why sack him just one week after the transfer window closed? What's the new manager now going to be able to do with both hands tied behind his back. They let quite a few players go during the window and only brought in one of Scolari's greasy bum-chums on loan.

Maybe Abramovich was saving up all his cash in preparation for Scolari's big pay-off.

being a great player does not make you a great manager. Roy Keane?

Frank Rijkaard would fit the bill

Not to go off topic but Keane did take Sunderland up in his first season when they were bottom then he kept them up. He's just a bit nuts. Not saying he's a managerial genius but I doubt you'd get many sunderland fans disputing he did a decent job most of the time.

Martin O`Neil is the man for the job in my opinion, look around europe and you will find their are no top draw managers and they have been thin on the ground for a while now. After Mourhino and Ferguson their are no proven top managers anywhere, Chelsea may have to chance someone like O`Neil or David Moyes.

Frank Rijkaard took Barcelona backwards in La Liga, look at them now he has left as Barca are playing top quality football and are miles ahead in the league.

" Chelsea captain John Terry said he was "shocked" by the Stamford Bridge club's sacking of manager Luiz Felipe Scolari.

After Scolari left the club on Monday, centre-back Terry said: "I was very shocked by what's happened.

"He had my full support, that's for sure, and I'm sure two or three of the other players would say the same. "

What about the rest of the squad JT?

Oh C`mon, give the guy a break. He`s a footballer so he can`t count past 3, they have servants that do the counting for them along with wiping their @sses.

I`d rather have Max And Paddy in charge of Chelsea than Hiddink, at least getting beat would be a laugh. It would be funny to see Max in his Pakistan cricket shirt giving the linesman some stick
