I totally understand that, and agree. As I have said, I have gone through a scare myself, and there is no guarantee it won't come back, or become worse. I can't cash in on that, and wouldn't want to, but then I am not of todays' 'fame'. I also watched my Mam go through breast cancer, and my Nanna, as well as others. None of which were in such a privilaged position to make money out of it. Many people out there would, if honest not pass on a chance to do so, if possible, if it meant when they are gone, their family was set up financially at least for a good while.

Yes she is cashing in on this, but I doubt for a second that makes this an easier time. If anything it may rest her mind that at least, despite losing their mother, her kids may have a good nest egg. Lets not forget, she is going to die, so by doing what she is doing, by broadcasting this, she is not doing it to make money for herself.

She is dying FGS. I can't stand her but do feel compassion for what is going to happen to her and her children when she is gone.
I always wonder why the rapists, murderers and downright nasty in this world seem to go on forever, yet Jade, who is (granted thick as two short planks and made good) basically harmless, a Mum and only 27 should have to suffer this awful, awful illness.
Makes me question my religion

She hasn't just appeared in the media because she;s got cancer. She's had a contract with LivingTV for ages - they followed her when she set up her business and launched her perfume etc. It so happened they were already filiming when she began to be unwell and obviously discover she had cancer. Now, Sharon Osbourne had cancer of the colon and they made a series about her family and she was often filmed laying in bed after she'd returned from her treatment etc.
Jade was given the opportunity to carry on filming and to carry on earning - why is that wrong? Sadly things have taken a turn for the worse and what was originally thought curable - has become terminal. As for Kylie and Swayze - NEITHER of them were actively in the public eye or mid-way thru filming when they got diagnosed - so it would've been in rather bad-taste for them to invite the media in. And everyone deals with this type of thing differently.
And as for OUR soldiers in Afghanistan - they are not (in my opinion) there for US. They are there to do a job that they signed up for. you don't sign in to the Army/Navy and think you're going to live the life of riely - when you sign and enrol - you know there is a chance of you being shipped out to a warzone - therefore, they walk into that eyes wide open! When jade signed up for BB and then again for LivingTV did she know she was going to cancer - did she ****!!!
She is going to die - and soon. And i don't think any of us would know how to deal with that unless we found ourselves in that terrible position. How do you tell your young children that your going to die and never see them learn to drive/buy a house/have kids/graduate whatever etc etc.
Yes she's a bit thick - and she's not the prettiest woman in the world - but that doesn't make her deserving of this illness.
For me at least, it has bought light onto a matter that is brushed under the carpet and not thought about often - but by her being in the limelight saying "its happened to me" - it can happen to anyone and that should be realised.
She;s not a bad person in comparison to Ian Huntly or any other peado or child killer or rapist - yet you all seem to think she's not "deserving" enough to live!

To be honest if I was in the same boat then I would do exactly the same for mine.

I wouldn't lay the blame completely on Jade Goody for being in the public eye regarding her cancer. It's her publicist, Max Clifford who is milking this story all the way to her grave for as much cash as he can!!

Let me ask you some questions.

How would you feel if you were "just" dying of cancer as you said, wouldn't you expect a bit of sympathy for the deadful ordeal followed by death that you were about to go through? Would you feel upset that it happened at such a young age? Would you not think life was being a bit unfair to you?

If you were given an opportunity in life, do you think it is wrong to take advantage of it, especially to make some more money for the sake of your children that you are leaving behind after you are dead in a short period of time? Is it wrong to take a fair opportunity at any time in fact?

Finally, is it really so difficult for you to feel a bit of human sympathy for someone who is so seriously, painfully, and incurably ill? Will it really hurt you personally so much to do that?

Much as I dislike the false celebrity lifestyle that she's been a part of, her children shouldn't be robbed of her at such a young age.

agreed i dont think she is racist just extremely thick.

i personally cannot stand her and think she is a repulsive person,but i would not wish what she and her family are going through on anyone.i also think in her position i would do exactly the same to make sure my kids are financially secure once i was gone.

I think its fairly safe to assume that neither BEP or his wife would consider using the situation they are in to make money.
Even if they did, i doubt they would continue when they realised how much money others were making off the back or their misery.
This is my point gentlemen, jade has made more than enough money to ensure her offspring will be well looked after. She doesn't need any more, her lavish wedding preparations tell you all you need to know about that.
However, what really grinds my gears is the way the newspapers splash it over the front cover every day.
And don.t think its to raise awareness or tell everyone how brave they are, they are doing it to sell newspapers. These people are profiting from the immenent death of this women.

Never liked her, never will. Dont particually wish her to suffer in any way shape or form. Feel sorry for the kids but ffs, keep it out of the news, go quietly with some dignity.
I dont read papers, hardly listen to the radio anymore but why is it, I hear about her constantly. There are many good people around the world going through similar

Other than her family, she will be no great loss to society. Im sorry if that sounds harsh but thats how it is.

I don't think anyone would argue that she, or indeed most people to be fair, will any great loss to society. However, some fo the callousness of some of the comments on here beggar belief!

They protray people who are far more unpleasant than Jade Goody has ever been.

As for dignity, is that really relevant? Again, it's not really her fault, the media being the people they are. Normal people die without dignity, but no one is interested in them.

I suspect there plenty of people who would do exactly the same as she has done, but they are simply not interesting enough to get that sort of exposure.

Geezer, I dont think you can really call her "interesting" As said, I can see that shes made some money off this, and rightly so, to build a nice egg nest for her children that shes leaving behind, bless them. But shes surely made enough money now to be able to go and salvage some pride for herself.

My friends husband, age 49 has terminal cancer. It is taking her all her time to try to keep his mind off it. Extremely hard, I would imagine. She is not a happy bunny at the mo' as the amount of exposure about Jade's situation, being constantly on the tv and in the papers is having a very bad effect on her husband. Just when she thinks she has got his mind off it, up pops Jade.

Well she has enough time out of hospital to visit the armani shop and harrods when she should be spending time with her kids. If she was really that bothered about a wedding dress why doesn't she get people to visit her with some so she can be with her family at the same time?

I noticed on the front of yesterdays Sun that she's got a bottle of lucozade (sp) she will probably be doing an advert for them too.

How can she already tell her 5 year old and 4 year old that she's going to heaven?? She has a few months left I wouldn't of told them now its a bit much for kids to cope with.

She also has told the sun that with her tv reality show on LivingTV that she might even die on camera! I mean WTF like that would ever happen.

How sad is it for her fella that he's only 21 and is going to be left with 2 kids.

Is she going to donate all the money she was going to spend on a wedding dress to a cancer charity considering harrods gave it her for free??

Cant beleive you lot envy her money, she is going to die, fairly soon, so what if she buys a nice handbag and her kids have a good start in life. I agree that plenty of people get cancer and die maybe in her own way she is a voice for those people (bit sad I know), everyone is one trip to the doctors away from that diagnosis, make the most of what you have whilst you have it, don't worry about what others have, just enjoy life, its amusing, sometimes its fun, sometimes disappointing but I take pleasure in predicting the inevitable steaming turds on the path of life.

Would you choose staying as you are or a few months, then dying of cancer but pretty wealthy, I know wealthy people who aren't very well, it doesn't seem to help.
