****ing silly bint. I really dislike the attitude that just because she's going to die, we can't hate her now. she is so stupid she probably doesn't even understand what cancer is anyway. I bet the doctors have to draw cartoons for her to understand!
Tell you what else annoys me, is that all these people who are now starting and joining facebook groups and going "Get well soon Jade, you're such a little angel" are the exact same people who were screaming about the outrageous behaviour in Celeb BB and asking for her head on a stick, saying that BB should be banned etc.

This country is full of absolute morons.

I'd have sympathy for her if she acted with an ounce of dignity. Instead she's on the front page of every celebrity magazine harping on about her disease and milking it for all it's worth. It's not really much different to Jordan whoring out her retarded blind kid.

Look at the difference in the way Kylie Minogue handled her cancer ordeal to that of Jade Goody. Some people have class and others just bring just bring **** on themselves.

I cant even check my emails without seeing her face I dont think you realise the extent that this woman has gone to make money out of the situation. 8 million pounds and look at her: YouTube - Jade Goody's cancer battle TV documentary extract what a miserable disgrace

Give me one good reason why she deserves to live?

Hold on, let me check that.

Give me one good reason why I should have to see her in the ****ing news every day?

Thats what really does it for me. Its making front page news on certain papers. We should all be jolly happy that theres nothing else going on in the world that can match up to the death of a pikey racist.

****cow with a ****desease, shes heading straight down the ****river she pissed out over the years.

astraboy.
P.S. She's making far too much money out of her cancer for my liking.
Absolutely SPOT ON!

I await the onslaught of indignation from the sad people who think saying a post is "unwanted" is going to change the bare facts.

Perhaps because when she first found out she had cancer she thought she was going to survive it?

I don't know the contents of her will, but in the paper it said she had made provision for her kids and that they would end up with their father, so I don't really see that Jack Tweedy is likely to get much out of it, possibly the house (which he has lived in anyway).

Getting married when you are given a very short time to live is pretty common. Two people I know have done it, one died soon after, the other one is still alive, but unlikely to see the year out, do they deserve your cynicism too because they are not famous or thick?

What a sad, sad person you are, you clearly have no real testing experience of life and you must be blinded by the silver spoon shoved in your gob.
The opening comment sounds like something you would here from a 13 year old spoilt bratt.
We can only look forward to the day something like this effects either you or a close member of your family, only then may we see some evidence of compasion from an otherwise shallow soul.

Its got perfume and a book by Jade Goody.

WHAT a polarised thread this is. Some callous vitriolic comment on one hand and indignant, 'bleedin' heart' superior comment on the other.

I think the thread is bout Jade Goody, NOT the curse of cancer its very self?

My father has cancer (and no I didn't mention this emotive hammer till now, as he is NOT Jade Goody (she wouldn't fit into the tip of his slipper) I did mention my mum's long dead little sister...). Anyway...point being most of this loud attacking belittling compassion is misguided and probably still quite hypocritical IMHO.

I felt sorry for Jade Goody's kids LONG before she suffered the utter misfortune of cancer after all.

D, it's a combination of both imo. It happens to be that the victim of cancer is Jade, but it could have easily been any other young mother in the public eye. She is famous, like it or not, so therefore, the media lap it up. Of course ordinary people go through similar things, without cashing in, or being splashed about the papers, but that is nothing unordinary in the celebrity world. We hear loads of stories about various stuff regardling celebs, you would never hear about normal folk, it's nothing new.

I think why we have so many people feeling compassion, is more to do with what is happening than who it is happening to. This is a terrible situation for any family, and fame or money aside, I don't think it is any less harrowing. Even if she does make some cash out of this, I am fairly sure it doesn't make this nearing the end of her life too much easier, she is still facing death, and no amount of money changes that.

I get that L - at least you said it without going on the indignant or 'unwanted post' type attack though. It just isn't what is coming across elsewhere here at all though.

So, well and succinctly put,

Thank you.

I do think that everybody has their own take on this, and because of the subject (not the person) it will generate an emotional response.

I personally don't think it is wrong or hypocritical to feel pity for her, purely as she is going through a hell of a time, and I wouldn't wish that on anyone. She isn't the worst person in the world after all, and like her or not, doesn't change the fact this is horrible for any family to endure.

I don't like to go on the whole 'unwanted' thing, unless something way out of order is said, as I think everyone is entitled to an opinion. However I would say, while some think it is fine to be harsh, and come across in a certain manner, at least consider those who don't share that view, and where they may be coming from. It works both ways.

I was laughing at jaseys comment

I totally approve of her putting what she can into a Trust fund for her children. Hence the
Not being awful to her boyfriend, but whatever she manages to make should be for her boys and not him

A customer came in yesterday and said she was in talks about them filming her death - how true that is I don't know but if it is true I think that is a step too far...... some things need to remain private.

I am all for her putting away what she can for her boys, but not that waster of a soon-to-be husband.

It is true it was in the sun that she said "I might die on camera" I think she is truly sick in the head and just cashing in on her own death!

Hope so, cant wait.

I thought she was really good in big brother.

'One wedding and a funeral'....took me ages to think of that.

Hey, you forgot. She's doing everything for her kids. Sure they will appreciate that little memory.

She say's she's doing everything for her kids what I think is yeah right! More like your doing it for the publicity people die everyday from cancer they aren't in the papers.

Anyone has more dignity than her anyday!

And if she was really that bothered about her kids why would she want her death being filmed??

Perhaps she wants to be positively remembered after her death. In all honesty, she is in position to do that as well, for she is already well-known as Jade "Baddy" for her performance in a highly stimulating and memorable programme called "Big Brother".

BTW, Jade Goody news got the most poota clicks yesterday, Sky news said. I am surprised, as her ongoing illness was not a fresh news for yesterday. for me, It was John Suchet's plight that got my profound attention. Very sad indeed.

Not comparing on this post, as both incidents are very sad. But just to add to the thread that is related to the fragile nature of life and unpredictable health problems, here is the link to Suchet's article (which you may already have read)>
John Suchet: 'My Bonnie is gone: it's as if she has died' - Telegraph

How can he put this without sounding less than human? John Suchet wishes that his wife, Bonnie, had cancer. At this statement, his head drops and he covers his eyes with his hands. “I cannot believe I am saying these words. But it will give you some idea of how cruel her illness is. If she had cancer rather than dementia we would still be intimate and we would be figuring out how to fight the bloody thing.

“If you’ve got cancer, it shows. People know. They talk about it. They share their fears. I can’t talk about it with her because she doesn’t know. We can’t sit down and say: 'Damn this bloody disease’ and decide how we will get through. I find that one of the most difficult things of all.”

“There are times when I want to bury my head in my hands,” he says. “When I persuade myself she would be better off without me because I’m crap at handling this. You have suicidal moments.”

As he sits at his computer, Bonnie moves in and out of the room “watching me, never thinking to ask what all this furious typing is about. Every so often, she smiles at me and there is that beautiful face again.”

Thats so sad John suchet is a wonderful bloke and it must be awful for him and his family. Atleast he has shown some dignity about it and not using it as a way of earning money!
