Old Films. Tell me your favourites

Ditto
Apart from te film itself, Jack Nicholson has this physical tension of his face that I find pretty sexy and attractive.
I haven't watched many ancient films, but I am sure some of them were fantastic with less effects and more substance in them.
I am enjoying this thread, because it is giving me some good ideas for my film collection. Some of the films by Spike Lee weren't bad, if they are classed as old (early 90s).

Talking about the war films, I proudly possess the DVDs of Born on the Fourth of July and The Killing Fields "Born on......." was the film that showed me the other side of Tom Cruise for the first time. He is not just a pretty face (you don't have to agree with me), but a superb actor too.

There is no finer song to come out of a film than 'King of the Swingers'
