cheers for that bud.
since i still have the standard D/P i can assume i need the 2.5" centre flange type.
i have an aftermarket centre section pipe and a HKS Backbox, which i know has a larger flange than normal backboxes as i went to buy a standard backbox flange gasket and it was alot smaller.

cheers for all your help bud

Yes, if you have a standard downpipe, a 3" to 2.5" is what your looking for.

Dont go buying a brand new one though. 2nd hand ones are ideal and you can pick up a really good named one for the price of a brand new fleabay one.

Right,last question,promise.

whats the difference between a bellmouthed decat and a normal one ?

is it the turbo flange size, i.e

bellmouthed

normal

guessing the bellmouthed one is the one to get ????

cheers

You've answered your own question lol.

Think about it... The OEM style flat, blanked-off wastegate area is very restricrtive to the wastegate gases, as they're forced through two 90deg turns, before joining the main turbine's exhaust gas stream.

With the bellmouth design, then when the wastegate opens, its gases join the turbine's gases a lot more 'naturallly', etc.
