Thanks again guys for the comments, I wasn't sure what the rad tape was there for or if it was standard or not, but I think it makes it stand out that little more.

Hi just ordered a grill kit for hawkeye....from zunsport, anyone know if they are easy to fit??
Soundz daft but you take old grill off first?? Just have a sneak you leave original in place??

Very easy to fif mate, theres 2 clips in each part of the grill surround (3 parts) remove them then prise the rest with some force but being carfull not to damage anything, your old grills need to be removed.

I think it did'nt look bad in silver but yeah it does look grand in black. What paint did you use for it? I've got Zunsport silver grills on my blobeye but have been thinking about making them black for a wee while.

I used a red scotch brite the rough the metal up, then a good quality etching primer, and a good quality gloss black all rattle tins.
