My GPS says I've managed 33mph on the bike, but that is down a 'kin big hill. I've also clocked 13mph on an 8-mile run, probably on the same hill

I got chased for doing an indicated 50mph in a 30mph limit (down Everleigh Rise in South Darley). The police officer would have been able to go faster had he not wasted valuable puff shouting "Oi! You lads; STOP!" instead of concentrating on pedalling.....

It makes me shudder still to remember taking the corners at the bottom and over Darley Bridge at 30-odd mph knee-down. I wouldnt drive around there now at half of that speed.

me and my old man had a 'white knuckle ride' in a scooby once at castle combe getting on for 7 years ago, it was in a standard WRX blobeye I think, anyway the track was a bit greasy and the instructor was doing about 90mph when we suddenly careered off the track into a tyre wall ..........

not the fastest I've been in a scoob but definitely a white knuckle ride !!

Corrected. The speedometer actually read 54mph. I have no idea how fast it really was, but it took some work to maintain a steady 20mph on the flat. Youre invincible when youre 13!

I've had 140mph odd out of the RB on the GPS... the speedo is about 10mph out most of the time lol

It felt like it wanted to go quicker but I was rapidly running out of straight

Not fast enough :[

When the speedo said 100 the satnav said 93, so by my maths when the speedo said 112 I was probably going 105ish in my Bugeye GX, it was slowly running out of steam at that point but I was running out of road faster.

145 in the scoob against a golf r32 on a private road the engine started knocking 2 days later

165 on track with the fireblade

and years ago as a passenger in a old modified datsun 240z it went of the clock at 155 and looked like it was 15 or 20 mph past the last number

had an old scorpio cosworth years ago that hit 155 as well

well then, allow me. Think twice about posting your 'private road' speeds on a public forum, whilst it's highly unlikely you would get into trouble by the claims alone, if, at some later date, any of you are involved in a serious rta that ends up in court, it is highly probable that the forums you post on will be checked due to the car you drive, and it is not going to look good in court if there are claims of 3 figure speeds.

Way off the clock - I would guesstimate about 235 MPH

Seriously, I haven't even attempted a Top Speed run in the Impreza ....... but, when I was slightly younger and more foolish I did open up my Calibra - I would say I topped out at about 150 MPH - but, I will never do that again - the 'gentle' bends are not gentle at that speed!

So far i've had 135 out of my scoob, 140 out of my escort RS and been passenger at 190 in a Ferrari F40 - tail end wiggled a bit when we lifted off throttle, was a little scary!!
