I never speed in this country because police men will come and arrest me, I will be branded as being worse than a rapist or murderer and end up at best losing my license and at worst spending the rest of my days in a prison cell with a over friendly gorilla who wants to make me his "hoe" called "big ron"

However when in countries where the laws allow you to drive to the limits of your car and dont see speeding as being the root of all evil, germany: 143mph - IOM: 126mph

Dont think a forester will go much faster though as its not exactly aerodynamic.

I have it on good authority that your car will do at least 172 MPH.

GPS reading.

Road Angel 150 (speedo 155) whilst mapping and done 140 a few times four up easily. Yet to be totally flat out.

As a passenger 180mph in a Ferrari 360 Spider on a narrow A road felt massively quick

My 93 WRX was hitting the red line (7000rpm) at an indicated 143mph, so didn't stay there for too long. Many miles of cruising at 120mph on the continent though!

If a 1996 UK car will exceed 160mph then I will eat my Arai without even brown sauce.
