Got pulled
#61
i got pulled within 45 minutes of buying my scoob, it was because when they ran the plates it came up as having no owner (bought from garage), id not been pulled up previously for years, asked the copper if this was a sign of things to come getting pulled all the time and he said if you where a young lad in a car like this then yes you would (old man now at 36) but id be alright, not been pulled since just wonder how many other plates they run on that road bet it was just mine,

You are allowed to record the conversation between you and a copper, if thats what you mean? you can have your mate sit in the back of the police car with you as a witness if you so wish. The Police are just civil servants after all.

Same thing happened to me, got pulled a week after i'd picked the car up. Sheriff's didn't even want to see my docs just asked for my name and as it matched the insurance they were very nice (the girlie was very, very nice) then they jumped into their wagon and left. Not been pulled since..... have got a penalty notice for speeding but that's a different issue....

not had any issues in the scoob (touch wood) the only 'look' I have had was from a tidy looking female blonde copper sat in traffic a few weeks back
have had enough experiences of coppers pulling me over in the past, once got stopped for doing over 40 in a 25 zone but the guy let me off with just a warning as I would have had enough points to get banned if he'd given me a ticket, think I must have said 'please sir' a lot I'll just add that was over 10 years ago in my mini 25

I have been pulled several times, I have no problems with this as usually they are "random" spot checks lol. The ANPR guys have been pretty sound with me, I did have one tool who was throwing sections etc at me but his mate just said, after he left, that I had a nice car and look after it.
The worst I have found, around Plymouth, is the normal PC's driving around who seem to just love Scoobies, Evos and the likes. I won't say too much as my mother is one of them dirty good for nothing **** coppers lol.
