Thanks for clearing that up.

Snorting a bit of poison?

Even E is now usually vitamin c tablets in London.

A mate of mine was sold chewing gum as crack recently on an operation being carried out.

Pure H used to be on prescription in the Uk, and is actually not that harmful, apparently.

All the sh1te it's cut with, and lifestyle is what can kill you. Other than an OD.

Get me some when you're next getting rays in kabul?

#64 - quite true - Keith Richards lasted so long as a junkie because he used to take medical heroin which was uncut, whereas most scum are shooting up something that may be 10 - 15% heroin, and the rest anything from baby powder to rat poison. A lot of OD's are down to someone who has been taking very low grade heroin for years accidentally getting hold of something really pure, and ending up taking 6 or 7 times the dose they normally would.

Read an interesting book about coke dealing once, and it explained how many times most coke gets stepped on by each dealer along the way until it hits the street - most of it was down to less than 20% coke ( which means the original kilo that was bought in pure from Colombia, is around 5 kilos worth on the street ) in the end.

No, but I got pulled on Friday and was given 2 30 quid fines (front tints and no rear plate on a car I was towing) and only cautioned once just before I signed for them. He didn't have a clue bless him, said I needed a brake cable on an a-frame, his serg couldn't clarify and he had to speak to motorway division, when he was talking to m'way he walked away and came back and said I did to save face, couldn't give me any specs or anything I need, nothing on the a-frame apart from the plate saying it can tow up to 2500kg

My bro is training to be in the police so is checking with his trainer on monday as he doesn't think the guy who stopped me was following PACE.

copper that stopped me said he would do me for 4 offences if I was to complain

2 £30 fines, as in 2 FPNs?

Unless the processs has changed you can't do that...

You should have been warned for one and fined for the other. Or, been summonsed for both offences.

You need to be cautioned the once, regadless of how many offences are being poined out.

I dont get this? Were you expecting to be cautioned twice, once for each ticket?

As for the lack of knowledge, there are some cracking stories out there of traffic getting things ever so slightly wrong, and even patrolling officers making some superb gaffs. But I guess at the end of the day, they cant know everything. But then should not be commenting on things they cant follow up on.

Yes, generally warn for the lower offence and give an FPN(E) if the higher offence carries points and the £60 fine.

Or a summonse if both (or more) are deemed worth sending to court - usually if one of the offences is no insurance.

Yep, 4 were pointed out but I was given 2 fpn's, no summons.

My bro said that I should have been only given one and cautioned before he told me and either before/after (cant remember what he said) I signed for it but different caution wording

I heard he can't do that either, looks like I'm off to court with a solicitor as he didn't follow pace, will see on monday

he was a right **** with me, I'm never an **** with police as I know it's not worth it

I took my tints off there and then as I didn't know they were illegal (1992 chevrolet van) and sorted the other things he pointed out before I moved off.

Cautioned is before offences pointed out. The caution isn't legally needed as Met officers don't caution - just point out the offence. No idea why, but that's the way it is.

I don't work in that area now, but only one FPN could be issued at any one time. It may have changed, and I am sur there are others on here that still work in this area that can say for definite re more than 1 FPN.

LOL, I worked for a large international company in London. They were going to bring in random drugs testing for staff, with threats of dismisal. I think someone sensible had a quite word and suggested that the impact of having to dismiss half their staff would probably have a more negative impact on business, than people doing recreational drugs out of office hours! Needless to say it never happened.

If asked, I would though. Makes you less of a threat to the police. If your arms can't be seen then you're a threat to their safety, and they will be wary of why you refused.

All give and take. If you're a ****, then they probably will be.

All from my experience. If I found someone to be a **** then it changes the game. The people that are usually awkward are at the roadside longer than those that aren't; simply due to processes taking longer.
at what point would they get the dog to sniff me or my car out if they have one with them? also, would they wanna check my undies if they decide on an on the spot search? i havent been stopped yet but i reckon id brick if this happened!! I ****in hate dogs!!!

if I remember correctly the police have to drive/escort you to a place where you can change your cacks for a clean pair – I think it is part of an Englishman's rights that date back to the Magna Carta or summin

(not sure about girls though)

Little point in being awkward, Just answer the questions politely and it will take minimum time anyway.

My mate got pulled over driving a HGV tipper wagon loaded with excavated spoil, suspected of being overloaded. The officer says "i always thought your sort were paddy's".
So my mate says to the copper who was wearing a cap, i always thought you coppers had pointed heads"
The copper said, "follow me to the weigh bridge"!

Why was he in full police uniform whilst driving his own car? Maybe its just an NI thing because of the troubles n all but that ain't something that I think would generally happen over here.
